Simon哥哥 has been telling us about this Korean restaurant at Telok Ayer Street.

我们终于抽空在昨天去了一趟.
But the walking journey was a tiring one. Coz the area was cordoned off due to the on-going construction for the new MRT line. Thus we got to make a big round to get to the place.

By the time we reach there, I'm sweating all over.

We ordered a Kimchi Steamboat with noodles, grilled fish and stir-fried rice cakes.

The steamboat was served with 6 types of 小菜 which can can be refilled. So we only pick those we like and asked the staff to refill. :-D I love their luncheon meat and fish cakes. As for kimchi, it was so so for me as I don't really fancy it. The steamboat was yummy! There are rice vermicelli on top of the noodles which we only realised it at the end.

They also served up with a jug of iced green tea which I found it abit bland. We also ordered their desserts. Haha! We had so much laughter when we can't decide which flavour to pick for the Mochi. So in the end, we just say that whichever flavour we got, that flavour's name will be our nick. Haha! I shall not reveal the nicks here. :-p

Thanks for the company, Bee Leng & Simon. Hope u had enjoyed my company too! :-)

Now thinking when will be our next gathering? Shall try to get Grace & Vivian out also. :-) I wanna see their babies!!!

Movies that are shown recently all involved romance.

Started off with Wolverine and now it is Star Trek.
Although the storyline is more or less the same, but I still like it. :-D

I love all these movie! Very enjoyable. I think the next up-coming blockbuster will be Transformer! Hehe! Another show that Darling love and I'm waiting for my Bumble Bee to be out.

We caught Star Trek at AMK Hub. But before that, we went to Darling's favorite place - NeBo. Of course this time round, there will be no more Gladiator Burger as we got a shock from the previous. And we also don't want to miss the 1st 10min of the movie.

Here's the food that we had ordered! I love their sodas. Very delicious and attractive looking. Hehe!

Yeah! It was another badminton session today after so long.
But I'm feeling very odd this afternoon. My bloodstream seem to be evaporating the alcohol from last night. I wonder how come it took so long... Is it because I never drink Long Island Iced Tea for long? Anyway, I love it!

So I went to play badminton with a slice of bread in my stomach. Energy level was very low at start but luckily half way through, I got 100Plus to save me. Hehe! Sugar level short back to normal and I'm able to play for awhile more before handing the court to YingYing & Terence.

After the session, we went for a quick shower at the Sports Hall then vegetarian dinner at Bukit Gombak. It made me feel so healthy suddenly. :-p (exercise & vegetarian!)

By the time we finished with our dinner, it was almost 9pm. Violet was mentioning that there is sale @ Tangs so we decided to pop over. The discount was attractive! 15% of the bill for Visa cardholders. But sad to say, Violet did not know their operating hours have changed. Thus when we reach there at 9.40pm, they are already closed.

So plan change for us again! We crack our brain to see what we can do. Walked over to Isetan Scotts to search for seats at McCafe but there's none. Then down to TCC and waiting time for seats is approx. 30mins.

It's so crowded in Orchard on Saturday Nite!!!

Thus we decided to go back to Bukit Timah and we went to Liquid Cafe which we never popped in before.

The place was nice for chilling! Not sure about the food and cakes they served.

I like the layering of the drink. At first I still can't bear to stir it but I got no choice. No stirring = No drinking. :-)

After saying goodbyes to my 2 babes, I went to meet up with my ex-bosses & engineers.

We went for a drink @ Hyatt Hotel's Brix.
It's my first time there. It different from the usual spots that I had frequent with my girls recently.

We had a nice time there. I had 2 glasses of my favourite - Long Island Tea for that night. :-) All of us chatted so much of the past. The memories we had when I working with them. :-) My German engineer even ask me whether I will join them in future. Time really flies for all of us. Still remember it was 2 yrs ago when my German came over to install the crane @ Batam. That time was tough for me. I had to ensure that their machinery, visa and accommodation were all done properly. It's a very good experience!

We miss our Miss Jiali!!!

She was missing from our gathering this time again... So sad! We hope to see her soon. Miss Jiali, please take care of yourself and don't get yourself overwork with the packing and shifting of office.

Joyce, Yan & I proceed on with our KBox session. We really miss singing! After stop singing for long, now I can't hit high pitch. Haiz.. voice locked. Sianz... Mayb should go with my kakis more often. Hehe! I also lost in touch with the latest songs.

Nobody updates me with the latest album anymore. So sianz. And every morning I will tune in to Class 95 and listen to the news & traffic conditions. It's been a routine for me.

I love the KBox session of the nite!!!

Just the 3 of us having a meal together, yet after so many tries, we still failed to meetup...

The first 2 meetups was canceled as Jac had last minute things on. So we had to postpone it to a later date. Luckily I still have Peili to go shopping with me. If not, I would feel very bored.

The 3rd time it was called off due to the wet weather... In the end, I met Jac at West Mall. Peili doesn't want to walk to IMM during raining day.

So many postpone & cancellations... I'm totally confused with the dates. I don't know when will we be meeting for a good meal again. It's really hard to get-together.

P/S: I really hope we can have a meal soon... I miss the times we eat & chat...

Weather has been very warm nowadays... And sleep late doesn't help... coz in the end I will end up with severe headaches...

It's was Mother's Day yesterday. I was home the whole day. I woke up around 1pm feeling very stone. Brother went to for self-study with his friends. Dad has went back to Malaysia to visit Grandpa as he has not fully recovered.

So there were no plans for Mother's Day till Bro texted me at 4pm asking whether I got plans. I told him that it will be crowded everywhere and I'm running out of ideas of where to go. Thus he suggested Bali Thai at West Mall. I tried my luck to call and make a reservation. Bingo! And I got it. Haha!

Dinner was at 7.30pm.
We ordered quite an amount of food which make all of us so full. I almost puked. To think my Bro can still request for 1 serving of Mango Sticky Rice. Mum & I salute him! Haha!

But actually the food there was very nice. Hehe! I love their green curry chicken. It's a must-try item in every of my visit.

Glad that Mum & Bro love the food there. :-) I did not order the wrong items. Hehe!

Lastly, I wanna wish Mum a very Happy Mother's Day! :-D

I had rebuked Darling for overlooking that my schedule. Becoz of his overlooked, I had to miss Ferlyn's solemnization... Haiz...

Well, it all started that we suppose to go for Darling's Graduation photo-taking at the studio on Thursday but due to his family cannot make it, he had it change to Sunday without checking with me. This is the last changes that he can make as his grandma will be going back to Malaysia the next day. Haiz... This is a big big decision making for me. BIG headache!!!

In the end, I ask Meifang to help me bring my ang bao to Ferlyn. I feel so sorry towards Ferlyn as I had gave her my promise earlier.

If the photo-shoot wasn't at 2.30pm on 3rd May, I would have attend. Haiz... I just couldn't make it in time for it. I was told the whole session will take 1.5 to 2hrs. By the time I finish it and rush down, it will be almost 5pm. Her solemnization is 5pm.

Thus I went ahead with the photo-shoot. It's was a pleasant one. But our expressions were all numb after numerous taking. Hehe! And lucky me, my make-up skill is still acceptable. No touch-up needed. I'm very scare of those common sponge used by studios. I feel that it's so unhygienic.

The samples can be review in 10days. I'm getting all excited about it. :-) I wonder how will I fare in it. It's like taking a test. Haha!

After the photo-shoot, Darling & I went out to catch a movie at Plaza Singapura. We watch X-men Origins: Wolverine. It was a very nice movie. I love the diamond girl... How I wish I can be one and I can be so bling! Keke! Nowadays storyline tends to revolve around the same love story/ tactics. So not much special in that way.

At Plaza Singapura, we also manage to spot a little stall at B2 which serves german sausages... Woohoo! Darling & I love sausages. Haha! We went to try and it tastes great!

I love their bacon & cheese toppings. Yummy! Yummy! Hehe! By the way, the type of sausages can be chose too. :-)

After the movie, we went back home as we were too tired to do anymore shopping. This photo-shoot was a good indication of how wedding photos are taken. It is sure to be more tedious a hundred times with the thick makeup and heavy gown...

For almost 5 years... I have not seen my ex-colleagues.

This is the nicest batch of colleagues that I ever had. I was taught with quite a number of skills during my contract-based employment.

Too bad, I didn't manage to get in as a full-time staff at that time. Coz there's a lady who had requested for a internal transfer from Malaysia.

It's alright. I'm also doing quite well now. And the changes that my ex-company had gone through might not be changes which I preferred. :-)

Thanks for Ms Law in organising this gathering. It's fun and we had lots of laughter. Lots of updates too. Haha! And Mandy is expecting her little princess to be due in early July. So now we are wondering when will be Juliana's & Anne's turn. Hehe!

Those time working with them will always be a sweet memories for me... I miss the times we spent together. I'm looking forward to the next gathering!!!

Some of them had left earlier. I'm sorry that I did not flash out my camera earlier... Oops! Coz I thought all are camera-shy...

I felt I had been eating alot for the past 2 days... It's very scary.

I'm really a glutton!!!

28th Apr - Ichiban
Simon called me up on Monday and ask if I'm keen in joining him and his wife(Lixin) for dinner @ Jurong Point Ichiban Boshi. As a Japanese food lover, I agreed immediately.

After reaching, then I realise actually they wanted to fill up their rewards cards with another $40 which can win them up to $80 food voucher I think. At first Lixin is still in doubt that we are able to make it to $40. But halfway through, she was finally convinced. And Simon told me that he knew I can help him on that. Coz I'm a sushi lover. Haha!

I was bloated by the food we ordered and some other items that they have redeem. Our whole table was practically full. The 3 of us are really 大胃王. Haha!

29th Apr - Pu Tien (Vivocity)
I'm supposed to go out with Jacinta & Peili for dinner but it was cancelled as Jacinta got something on. So Peili & I decided to go ahead with shopping as the date was already blocked out. We went to Vivo City in search of flats/slippers. It's a coincidence that both of us happen to look for something in the same category.

We went for dinner at Pu Tien in Vivo's Food Republic. This is the 2nd time I was there. Both was with Peili. This time round we order something different. 1 is their famous - Xin Hua 卤面 and the other is Xin Hua 米粉. We also got a Pu Tien Bao as it seems very nice. Indeed it tastes yummy. Hehe! Both the main course are also nice but the serving was too big. We had problem finishing it. So in the end, we had to leave some behind.

Luckily our shopping was after dinner. Or else, it's very fattening. I can't afford to grow fat anymore... or soon, my whole wardrobe has to be change again. Haha!

I was once again held back in the office.
For twice in a month for the similar case, I had to stay back and clear the things.
First time, I almost flew Joyce & Peili's kite. This time, I had to tell Yan that I can't meet her at the station and ask her to make her way down herself to Central. Haiz... I'm tired... Can someone tell me what I can do to escape from all these???

Fortunately, this time I only stayed till 6.30pm and Central was much nearer than Plaza Singapura. So my cab journey was shorter and faster. :-D

I arrived Central @ 7pm. Rushed up to the restaurant and realised we are next in the queue. Hehe! I'm in luck. :-p I made the girls queue for it and I just enjoy the food without sweating.

We went for our dinner for the night is at Marutama Ramen. I remember clearly that Joyce told me she had craving for the ramen so I just ask the rest whether the are already to go ahead with the ramen.

But this time round, we pick the outlet @ Central. As according to Joyce, the ramen and soup @ Central taste nicer.

Indeed, after trying both outlets, we conclude that Joyce was right and the soup wasn't as oily.

This time, Joyce recommend us to take the tamago. Haha! She love the tamago there. Yummy yummy. Nicer than some 'other' restaurants that we always frequent formerly... :-p

Cady was late. I think he went to meet the other group of girls. :-) So we waited for them outside Lunar.

Hehe! :-p As it's our first visit there, we almost lost our direction. But we are always lucky. So we manage to get there without any hassle. :-p

Finally we reach Lunar after some rest points for photo-taking & ATM service along the way...

I love the service at Lunar. Their got bag check at the entrance by a lady. I'm not too sure whether is it we are early that's why we saw her or... Anyway, she talks to us very nicely and polite. Best of all, she call us 'Baby' and tell Joyce that she like her... Haha! It's all becoz Joyce had emptied her water bottle before going into Lunar. From this, I can see that they are very strict on security.

Best of all, I love their bag service. No need to spend a cent lockers and trying hard to squeeze all our bags into 1 locker. Haha! Each of our bag was tag with a card and when we exit, we just collect our bags.

Although the party start early, but my soul wasn't there. I'm so troubled by my work. Luckily, my babes are very motivated. They pass on the motivation to me. Otherwise, I won't last till 4.30am. I would have been gone by 1.30am I think. Recently, I have really been very troubled with my work. Especially these 2 days!!! Arghhh!!! It's very frustrating.

I'm glad I did not spoil the night in any way. And my emotions were well-controlled at Lunar. I love the songs that the band played and sang. It's better than Dargonfly I feel. Maybe it's due to the place where we were seated?

Not only that, at level 2, there's bar top dancing. We went up for a while. I find it nothing to rave. I prefer those I see on Taiwan variety shows. But I cannot make comparison this way. Coz those that were selected for the shows were the top few in the country.

Oops! I think I shall not comment on that too much coz I don't know how to dance too. :-p I just know how to party!!! Hehe! Thus, I shall just enjoy partying!!!

Haha! Tiffany and friends were creating 'fingers effects' behind us. Very cute!

As Jiali is absented from my birthday celebrations... ... she decided to make up by giving me a kiss. Haha!

I'm so fortunate!!! Thanks, Jiali!

Whole it's a photo filled night too. I'm not sure whether we took as much as we did in Dragonfly. But I'm so happy that I get to know more friends. :-D

Tiffany is very fun. Love dancing with her. :-D She very energetic!!!

The best part starts from here... Haha! We totally did not time ourselves how long we took in the restrooms. It's was till Tiffany told Jiali to check on us. Tiffany thought either one of us was vomitting in the restroom.

So Jiali came in and found we are all perfectly alright... she then started to join us in the photo taking. Hehe! We love the mirrors in the restrooms... ... Fabulous!!! Hahaa! Shortly Tiffany came too and thought we had fallen in the toilet bowl.

But when she saw us still taking photos, she just shook her head and walk off. Keke! I think no one is as crazy as the 4 of us. Well, we just love each other's accompany and photo taking!!!

We leave Lunar around 4.30am... It's a tiring yet fun-filled night. Haha!

Luckily I can sleep till 3pm then start to prepare myself for the BBQ steamboat @ Turf City... ...

We have been trying hard to plan for a BBQ but all our schedule was too packed for anything. Well, I think the next time we have to be harsher on setting dates. Like we plan on the day where majority of the group can make it. Haha! Oops! Am I too harsh?

Since we can't have our BBQ soon, we got something else as substitute. We went for the Chong Pang BBQ & Steamboat at Turf City.

Haha! It's my first time there and I didn't know that Chong Pang have shifted from Marina South to Turf City. All the while I had the impression that there is only 1 steamboat there which is the 镇发.

Although we never meet for abt 3mths, but most of us still look the same. And the same old eating culture still applies for all. Haha! The prawn lovers still love the prawns alot. The 大胃王 are still the 大胃王. Haha! As for me, I got tired of the BBQ food after awhile.

From this BBQ session, we conclude that Wee Xiong is not a good cook. Coz he added lots of butter onto the hotplate and it splattered onto everyone. Haiz... So next time we should not sit near him. Or else... ... be prepared for worst. Haha!

After the dinner, it was around 10pm. We then proceed to Woodlands Civic Centre for our standard chit-chatting session till around 1am. Then my poor Bro - Terence start to drive each of us back. My bro & I accompany him all the way. Haha! But I sleep most of the time as I'm very tired from the previous day outing. :-p

I took it just because of one comment.

After work, I went to Lot One's Sasa to search for a eyebrow curler. I got nothing except a comment from one of the sales lady. She just mention that she love my blouse. As I'm just took a nap on bus, so I'm still quite blur at that moment when she said that. I just smile and walked away. Well, I don't mean to be mean to anyone. It's just that I still in my dream mode. Hehe!

Personally, I love this photo. But too bad, it's very blur. I can't turn back the time and take another one... So this is the only photo of the day.

As suggested by MeiFang, we went for dinner @ Sakae Sushi. I can't remember how long I have never been there. But the menu is still the same. Their standards has dropped tremendously.

Currently, they had a promo that is $1 for all the blue plates. Quite reasonable for some of the items only.

WeeXiong was late. So by the time he arrived, we were 40% full. So we ask him to order only for himself and we can only help in abit. But in the end, we ended up with excess. Haha! Even WeeXiong can't take it. Hehe! The premium sushi was too much. I feel if they had cut each sushi into half the size, we won't feel bloated when looking at it. It's a bit too big to be stuff into the mouth also. Haha!

WeeXiong's personal curry udon. Haha! In the end, it was not a personal one. Coz it smell so nice and we start to tax him for bits and pieces of the chicken and udon. Haha! I think I tax the most.

Actually I'm very happy that the 3 of them still make an effort to make me on a Wednesday night to celebrate my birthday as a belated one. Coz I have been too busy the previous week. I totally had no time to meet them. Most days in the week, I'm away in Malaysia.

Although it's a very simple one, but it's enough. It's the though that counts. They had accompany through the happy times. Bringing lots of joy and laughter into my life. Thanks for MeiFang in introducing them to me. Although weeks ago we had been discussing about some unhappy past, but it's all deleted in my memory. Now we are in a different group. Things will be changed.

Thanks to Meifang for shopping around for my pressie. I knew the boys will not be able to do it. Hehe! Coz I'm too fussy??!!

Anyway, I love them lots... Thanks to WeeXiong, Terence, ShiXiong, HongYe, PingHan, CheeMing and Meifang for sharing the pressie.

The calculator will be stationing in my office and accompany me through the hard times. The diamante sticker will be kept first and I can't stick them on my NDS Lite which is with my glitter cover on currently. The shower band will only be used when I go on holidays.... Every time I forgot to bring my hair band along. So got problem when cleansing my face. For the stamps, I will keep them nicely in my photos album. Hehe!

I knew it was belated birthday celebrations but I don't mind. It was the sincerity that the girls had shown. I'm very happy that they still make the effort to celebrate for me. Not only that, they also got me a gift. It's 3 dresses. 1 formal, 1 sundress alike and 1 babydoll dress top.

As all of us are staying in the west, so we pick Jurong Point as the venue. Haha! And I'm the first to reach as Mary was caught in a jam.

We went to Din Tai Fung for dinner. I love 小笼包 alots... So we ordered 10pcs to be shared among the 3 of us. Hehe!

We also took a few pictures while waiting for the food to be served. As usual, the food was served quite fast @ Din Tai Fung. :-D Thus our hungry stomach need to be starved too long. Hehe!

We almost took some photos while waiting @ Haagen Dazs. The waitress was also very friendly in helping us to take photos. :-) Haha! She even ask which model was my camera. Keke! I start to think... is my camera very good and popular? Or becoz of the ugly diamante which were dropping off? Hehe!

I just realised that Haagen Dazs is also celebrating their 25th Anniversary... Haha! We are of the same age...
