Today was really a beautiful day for me.
At first I thought my Darling will tell me that he will pick me up at the office. But to my disappointment, he didn't. Instead, I was given 2 choices.
No. 1 is he will pick me up at the office but he might be late.
No. 2 is I will go to the dinner venue by myself with Grace and her husband.
Well, in the end I chose Choice 2 as I don't want to be late for the dinner as I was told that I have to clear the place by 8pm as another group is coming.
But as to my surprise, Darling actually went all the way to pick up the flowers from the florist just for me. And he mention that he might be late as it is due to the estimation of traveling time. Not only that, he was also in a rush for time as he was helping out at home doing the house-cleaning. It's so sweet of him isn't it. All this was done in mind of me...
Darling, I just want to say that I really appreciate it very much. It's so nice of you to shower so much love on me.
So this is the bouquet of flowers he send me this year.
Just a little gift from me. It's cookies... There are 3 types. 2 types I learn from my Baobei-Mary. They are definitely very nice. As for the 3rd one, I just hope that they turn out well and will be Darling's favourite. So Darling, I will be waiting for the results from you.
And this little heart-shaped box contains gummy from my love. He was so creative that he printed a picture of his last valentine's day present from me and cut it and stuffed it at the bottom. Not only that, there are 7 pcs of gummy inside the box. And 7 in Chinese rhymes with my last letter of Chinese name.
He also take got efforts to cut the blue hearts from cardboard to make the whole thing 3-D.
My Darling really put in lots of efforts.
Something that I have to mention...
This year, I was given a stalk of rose with "I Love You" specially printed on it.
The little soft toy for last year was bear and now it's doggy.
The color of the rose was different too. I heard from Darling that last year's was pink and this year was champagne.
Now I'm wondering next year what will be different. Don't make it too big a surprise!
P/S: To my darling, actually I didn't know that there will be flowers for me this year. And I didn't expect it. Really thank you for making my valentine day such a nice one. It's really beautiful. You have pamper me too much. Aren't you afraid that I will be spoilt? But whether I'm spoilt or not, that will be in future. Hehe! I just love the way you pamper me... :-D
