I ♥ Charmy Kitty

I'm getting too engross with Hello Kitty.

For the past 3 months, I had bought the most number of Kitty items in my life. Weird right? How come it's so sudden that I started buying them?

Well I guess I'm too stress at work and I start to source for something I like. Hello Kitty is one that I kept the interest in my heart and never show it out as most of the time the merchandises are too expensive or the kitty looks fake. Recently, I started to see more and more pretty ones. So I start to collect those feasible items. :-)

This pair of ruler is for my workplace. Hehe! It brightens up my day alot.

As mentioned in the earlier posts, I wanted a stylus to match my NDS Lite. Finally I found it at a shop at Plaza Singapura. Only 1 piece left. :-) I think someone imported it from overseas. It's much cheaper than those selling at Comics Connection. And of course their design is different too. Not too sure about the quality.

There will be more Hello Kitty items to come. :-D

I'm so happy today. The sky is beautiful and on my way back today, I saw a double rainbow.

It's a rare sight in Singapore. Usually I can only catch it in Malaysia when I was traveling back along the highways.

I wonder where is the golden coins pots located... ... I wish I could find them. :-p

It has caught me with surprises...

I didn't expect to receive such an sms from Joyce this morning.

The sms has totally make my soul wonder off. I was blank for a moment.

Now I'm grieving together with Joyce mentally. Joyce's granny is like my granny. From young(during sec sch days), I have been popping by her house every weekend without fail. She treats me very nice. Now I only have those memories with me... ...

It's sad to hear that her granny has passed away this morning. I understand that it's very painful for the love ones. I hope Joyce & her mum can be strong.

I took my unpaid leave today. Every month I have to clear the required number of days before it lapsed.
Although I got 1 more day to clear but due to the amount of workload, I'm allow to bring it till next month.

I stayed home till around 4pm in the afternoon doing nothing before I went to prepare myself and go out to town. I had arranged for a Mani & Pedi session @ Charme. I feel I had to go for it. My cuticles and nails are all very weak from the acrylic extension & fake tips.

It was so unsightly that I can't stand the look myself.

This round, they assigned me with a different manicurist. Think she is new there. The colors that she has recommended was nice. The shade of brown that she put on for me was unique. The color has lasting look. I love it alot. My fingers are with a lighter shade and darker on the toes. I also purchase a quick-dry top coat @ $28. I believe it will come in handy for my future mani/pedi session.

Sweetie came down to meet me in Orchard after her work. We had a stroll around Orchard and a quick dinner before heading back home.

Almost 4mths since I had my last hair cut.
Finally I find to go and look for Carmen. Thanks to Sweetie for accompanying me before we pop over to Cineleisure. I caused her to buy an umbrella some more. Haha! We both got the same one now. I love the green. It was raining too heavily that we can't ignore and run over.

This time round, we got some surprises. Carmen's sister actually came over and help in the business. My hair was trimmed by her and I like it. She quite creative in a way. And Joyce got her hair style up like she has gotten short hair. Very pretty. I love it alot but I didn't manage to master all the skills. Maybe there's a few techniques that I can bluff around still. :-p So any guinea pigs?

Due to the rain, we were late for the appointment. Luckily Violet & Joy were earlier so they check-in to the KTV room first.

I think everything was pre-destined by the management. They arrange their fans to get the bigger rooms for them to mingle with Jiro, Rainie & Yu Wei. It's so obvious. We were so sad about the arrangement.

Nevertheless we still continue to sing and enjoy ourselves to the fullest. After our idols left, we start to take photos and sing to entertain ourselves. Haha!

Too bad that it abit dark.

We finish our KTV around 7pm then we walked down to Plaza Singapura for dinner and shopping. We went to Ajisen for Ramen. It was fully packed but lucky we can squeeze into a table for 4. If not, I guess our hungry stomach got to wait much longer.

Before the food was served, we try to take more photos in order to withstand the hunger. We also met Carmen there. She is having dinner with her family. Her son is very cute. :-)

Finally our food arrived and gobble it down quickly. For 2 days, I have been starving for dinner. Haha! And that's the power of going after idols. Is it good for slimming?

I managed to arrive Causeway Point at 6.35pm and the center stage area is already crowded. I can't even see my Sweetie - Joyce. Then up the various levels, the space has also been taken up.

I cannot stand the crowd so I went to walked around while waiting for Yvonne to come. She arrive around 7.15pm and we went for some shopping before going down o wait for the Idols to arrive.

The idols actually arrived 1.5hr late and the excuse that their management gave was so inconvincing. Anyway, at least we got to catch a glimpse of the handsome & pretty so anger was simmer down. Rainie is very pretty in real person and she is very skinny too. How I wish to have her looks & size. The guys are tall & handsome especially Joyce's Jiro. Haha! So was so smitten by him.

The autograph session ended very soon as they had limit to the first 250pax. We manage to go for dinner around 9pm. As it was late, varieties were limited. In the end we choose Pasta Mania.

Everyone of us was so tired from queuing & crowds. Violet started to have gastric reactions already so we quickly go and grab our pasta and gobble it down. While waiting for it to be served, Joyce help us took a few snapshots.

We will be going to KBox cineleisure tomorrow and catch the pretty & handsome hoping that we can have a close-up photo shot with them. :-)

In view of the current trend, my company also send us for training.

The very first training session for the year is Personal Effectiveness (Supervisory).

It is under the Employability Skills System (Workplace Skills Series) which has been emphasized all the while.

The 2 days of training was very fun. There are more practical stuffs as compare to my previous training last year. I don't like stuffs that are very dry. They just simply can't be entered into my mind and I tend to fall asleep while listening to the trainer talking.

Although some of the points in the course - Personal Effectiveness was already made known to ourselves earlier but we had always cast it aside. Now, we are clearer on the points and can also enhance to make things better. Sometimes, we just need people to highlight the importance of things to us.

Now I'm starting think of courses that I wanted to go. But, do my company have any subsidies for it? It's a headache!!! And during this economy, can I request to go for training course subsidies by company???

After my Valentine getaway, Darling drove me home.
I had a rest before setting out to meet my babes at Jurong Point.

It's our first time going to Jurong Point together. Too bad Jiali cannot make it.

We went for dinner @ Din Tai Fung. Hehe! Their Xiao Long Bao never failed to tempt me. ;-D

Before dinner, we went shopping around and I got a bareback top from Osmose. 50% off so I got it to standby in my wardrobe in case I need it. It's beige in color so I believe it will come in handy.

Sad to say that as we went for late dinner, some dishes that we ordered was unavailable already. But we still got some other yummy dishes around. :-)

I shared the soup & noodles with Yan and Joyce got her own Chicken soup noodles. Rest of the items are shared by all.

This year, we celebrated our Valentine's Day differently.
We got a room @ Changi Village Hotel. It was a special promotion package by UOB cards.

We thought it was quite reasonable and the rooms might have sold out earlier as we only notice the promotion 1 week before Valentine's Day. Haha!

The package is S$298 which consists of 1-night stay @ their deluxe room, 1 bottle of housepour (red), 4-course dinner for 2 with 1 pralines and American breakfast buffet for 2.

As they are expecting a big crowd at their standard check-in timing, they called up Darling and ask us to arrive earlier if possible. This whole thing had almost become a nightmare for the 2 of us.

Firstly, we arrive @ the hotel lobby at 10am. The staff issue us with the wrong room and I spotted the difference of name on the slip. Then we were issue with coupons for complimentary drinks. Thus we took our drinks and waited. 10mins passed and the room is not ready so we decided to go for breakfast. Just before we set off, Darling asked me whether I had received the flowers that he sent. I was blurred and he thought I was kidding him. Well, anyway it's true that I did not received the flowers in time as the delivery guy did not manage to send on time. So sad! I wanted Darling to call up the florist and ask them to divert the flowers over but too bad, we didn't manage to coz Mum called me and said that she received the flowers on behalf of me before we call. Haiz!

After breakfast, we walked back to the hotel. It was around 11.10am. We check with the staff and was told the room was no ready and we got to wait. She even said that she will come over and hand us the keys personally once everything is ready. At 11.35am, we saw her walking off for her break. OMG!!! I can't believe my eyes and I started to pressurise Darling.
We popped over to the counter and asked. Now another on duty told us it's not ready and I overheard him calling the housekeeping asking them to prioritise our room first. Immediately, I questioned him on how long more I had to wait and their front desk manager sensed my anger was rising and ask him to issue us with another room first. Every thing ended just before 12noon.

We took a rest before going to Tampines Mall for shopping. Hehe! I really buy! Got 2 lingeres top & 1 Mango racer back. We also went to the bazaar(aka Pasar Malam) for our late lunch.

We headed back to the hotel around 7.30pm after getting some groceries. The cashier joked with me that Darling only buy 1box of chocolates to celebrate Valentine's Day with me. Haha!

Our room for the night. Very nice and cosy. I love the bathroom. Can watch TV from the shower.

Just this whole set meal, it will cost S$110++/couple. And there's a stalk of flower for each couple. The praline is also given during the dinner and it's a heart shaped one. So sweet isn't it?

Frankly speaking the prawns are done so nicely and the sauce fits it so well that I did not have enough of it. Darling's lamb rack was fantastic too. Just abit of complain. The portion seems abit little. Haha! Oops! Am I too greedy?

After dinner, it around 10.30pm. We took a slow walk to Darling's car and drove it back to hotel. As earlier on, the parking was full due to the high demand by the wedding event's guests and couple celebrating Valentine's Day.

It's a very sumptuous one as compared to my usual.

I love to have this type of breakfast once in a while coz it will make me feel so pampered. Haha!

Finished with the breakfast, we went back to the room and take a rest before checking out. As time is still early for home, we went over to Downtown East and catch a movie.

The movie is "Underworld : The Rise of the Lycans". It's a very nice one. Enjoyable but the cinema was very cold. I kept shivering and Darling hugs me tight. :-p
We also found one new restaurant which is called "Super Dog". we try their hot dogs and it's yummy.

I feel I'm like a eating glutton tonight.
From Astons to Rocher Beancurd, 8.30 - 10.30pm... Omg! If this continue on every week or day, I'm sure to gain lots of pound.

Went to Plaza Singapura to meet Darling & his UOL classmates. They had a dinner appointment. Astons was the pre-decided venue but a few of them complain of the queue and long waiting time. But then by the time some one suggested to change, it's almost our turn with 4 groups in front of us and the queue got longer.

I reach PS around 7pm and Darling is on his way from home. I don't want to meet the rest first so I went shopping. M)phosis is having sales so I popped in and took a look. Just one look, I spend $28.45. Haha! But I feel it's worth la. 50% off the price for a pair of pants. Why not? Somemore the length is just nice except the waist area still got abit of space. Hehe! It's already S size so I guess they don't come in XS.

Well, to me as long as it won't fall off then ok liao.

By the way, tonight I tried some new at Astons. I had the Grilled Fish with Herbs. Nice but slightly longer waiting time. It makes me feel lighter eating it too. Guess meat is of the heavier density. Maybe I shall try cutting down on that and see if I will get any lighter soon. Keke!

My desserts at Rocher Beancurd was Soya Milk, half You Tian & egg tart. The portugese egg tart there is very smooth and silky. Yummy! Thanks for Darling buying it for me. Hehe!

Long time I never post photos of us... so here's one. I like this dress alot. Never try and just bought it off the shelf. So daring right? Haha! Never thought of what if I can't wear. :-P

I simply can't bear to use them. It was stated as 'Limited Edition' on the box.

I adored them so much. Now shall keep them nicely in my wardrobe first. I will display them when I found the right place for it.

Tonight suppose to be a group gathering but in the end, it ended up with Simon meeting me only.
BeeLeng was busy with her school work and Grace was too busy with work.

Now economy is so bad and I wonder how come she has so much things to clear.

Anyway, Simon and I decided to change the venue to West Mall which is much more convenient for the both of us as we can take the same bus back. Then the waiting time that Simon has to spend is slightly lesser. (*My working hours end 30mins later than his.)

We went to Sakae Sushi for dinner. Simon recommend me to have the Salmon Don. He told me that his wife had fall in love with Ichiban Sushi's Salmon Don so he wanna c if Sakae Sushi has the same. I found it not bad but I guess if I were to finish the whole thing myself, I won't be able to do so. Coz there is too much rice for me.

After dinner, we went walking around and I also went to Osmose and try on a dress. I love that dress at first sight(which was before CNY) when I saw it at Far East Plaza. But at that time I did not try on coz the price is too steep - S$79.

After trying on, it's fits me 90% except the low back part where I feel that I got some fats showing off. And this item is not under the storewide sale also. Thus I gave it a miss. Anyway, this dress is too formal that I can only wear during special occassion like formal dinner, Dinner & Dance etc. So I guess most of the time I will keep it in my wardrobe. Even if I bought it now, I will keep it inside first coz currently, I cannot foresee any chance of wearing it in the next 6mths.

We went down to Coffee Bean for a drink after finish with the shopping. Chatted for around hour before we headed back home.

Simon just told me that he wanna get a car soon since the price now is low. I do agree also. For a first time car owner, this is worth it. So he is going to monitor the market for awhile more and note a few more points before deciding. If Simon really gets a car, next time he can come pick me up before our gathering. Then I can also have chance to go Meiji!!! I miss my chocolates!!!

I'm just too greedy! By the way, I'm not trying to take advantage of him but it give me a chance to go out lunch with him at other places than our usual one. Hope he can get a good deal soon. :-)

Richard, wish you all the best in your studies @ Adelaide.

Just had a farewell dinner with Richard and the rest @ Tian Tian Steamboat in Bugis.
The whole session was fun-loving. Richard dare not take food which had a trace of rawness. He was afraid that he might had diarrhea when he was about to board his flight. Auntie Jenny & I just whack everything that we had in our pot of soup and most of it was veggies. Hehe!

The atmosphere got tense with sadness when we are about to go home as we can't bear to part with our dear friend. Although he is leaving for good but we just can't bear to. This also means that during our CNY celebrations, there will be 1 person lesser.

Btw, it was the first time I had dinner there. Overall experience not bad. They give us the so-called VIP seats upstairs. I'm not too sure there is any difference in the variety of food but I just know the environment upstairs seems to be cleaner. Price is ok. We spend about $18/pax.

It's a yearly affair that I will arrange for gathering at my house for my group of army boys. :-p

This year happen to be slightly different abit. Haha! I was surprise that I manage to get some of the absentees who are away from the previous years to join in. So the group was bigger this year. :-) (Actually at first I thought the response might be poor. :-p)

My mum had to cook steamboat for dinner. Luckily most of the items we got is to put into the steamboat. If not, she has to work alot in the kitchen.

This year, I had try to make some of them come earlier for the mahjong as previously they all came very late and we can't play much. So I put the timing from 2pm onwards. In the end, they came at 3pm onwards. Haiz...

This is the first group of players. :-) They had lots of fun playing mahjong.
And now I'm dreaming about having this type of gathering every now and then at my own house. :-p

Dinner commence at 6pm as Sharon Phang has another group waiting for her. She is very busy as she flying back the very next day. 3 weeks flied fast for her. Her frenz cannot only catch her once a year if not, we gotta fly over to Perth and visit her.

Joyce is my sweetie. Not easy to get her also. My mum just mention the other day that it has been years that she last seen her. Hehe!

I got Sharon Yoh to come over as actually that day we suppose to go out with Sharon Phang for a drink but it was cancelled in the end. So this gathering is a make-up for the drinking session. :-p

I'm sorry that some of my other friends were missed out from the invitation list. I did not forget anyone of you. All my friends are in my heart. It just that my current house is too small and not so nice to make my parents work to hard in the preparations of everything. I promise that if I own a house, I will start to invite all of you.

After dinner, we started with 'healthy gambling' session. As the host, I become the banker for the Blackjack and at the mahjong table, my brother join them for fun.

At the start of the Blackjack, Chee Ming got triple 7s. It was quite unbelievable isn't it? Luckily they only requested the payback to be 3times. Or else, I guess a hole have been burnt and I'm unable to continue as the banker.

We played till 2am in the morning for the mahjong. Blackjack was ended around 11pm and they started with a friendly game of Big 2.5 as most of the pockets were 'injuried'. :-p Sorry folks! I hope it wasn't too serious.

My total winnings for the day - $78 ($75 from Blackjack & $3 from Mahjong)
My brother's losing for the day - $21 (Mahjong). Haha! He pay a huge sum(consider his age and ability) for the school fee.

Ever since I'm back from Malaysia, I have been following TVB's blockbuster of the Year - The Gem of Life.

Actually, I never wanted to start so soon. At first I wanted to wait till the whole serial was finished in Hong Kong then I start but when I went to my uncle's house on the 1st day of CNY, he played it for me. Thus I'm addicted to it...

It all started from there. I have been watching it every nite. It was very addictive but it was quite long-winded as compared to the previous TVB show I watch. Anyway, the cast involved is huge so they can drag. Unlike typical Taiwanese show, I will get tired of it very soon. Hehe!

Well, now my after work supplement is 'The Gem of Life'. I love their diamonds!!! How I wish I can be like one of them... Keke!

PS: I can continue to daydream as much as I like... still got a few hours before the sky turns dark.

Yummy Pizza!!!

Hehe! I love the barbecue meat and the crispy crackers.

I made the right choice by inviting my bro for dinner. He help me to finish one more slice of pizza when I can't swallow it down anymore. The golden ingots are nice. Each with 1 shrimp. And the cheesy ingots surrounding the pizza. It's filling. Haha!

Hope my brother had enjoyed it! I will bring him again when there's other promotion. :-)

1st day back to work and I got so clumsy in the end. I guess I wore the wrong color to work today.

Haiz, it has been a busy day for me!!! Lots of orders pending for me to process. Coz we have been closed for 11days (including Sat & Sun) and our customers only closed for 7-9days. Thus there's a lapse.

In order to rush out everything as quickly as I can, I skipped my lunch. I didn't feel anything till around 2pm. Started to make some cereals and gobbled down a packet of biscuits.

Everything lasted me till dinner time.

I had arranged to meet Bro at Jurong Point for dinner as Mum went for company dinner. We also decided to go and look at the mp3 players as Bro wanted 1.

But who knows what will happen. Before I could even meet Bro, I sprained my left ankle again. The nerves was so painful that I couldn't even walk for around 2min. Rested at the same spot for a while before I proceed to the nearest pick-up at Jurong Point and rested there till Bro came.

My ankle had once again hurt itself. It's swollen now. I can't twist & turn. But lucky thing is that I still can walk in my 3inch high heels. I guess I need to see a sinseh asap tomorrow.

I also went to remove my acrylic nails extension as I found it quite irritating and it seems to have cracked. I can't work with long nails. Cost of removal & express manicure is S$40. This is the only time that I sat for 1 n half hrs and my ankle manage to rest. During dinner, I only gave it around 40mins.

Now I hope that the sinseh will be lighter on the rubbing. I can't stand pain/aches. Another thing that I had to mind also is that I can't skip my lunch. I guess my concentration was affected by it thus I had the fall. Coz before falling, my mind seems to be totally blank and after I try to stand up, my blood pressure was low as I started to feel giddy.

Well, this is a very important lesson to me. I can't afford to get into this type of injuries again due to my job scope now!!!
