Baobei need a pedicure for her feet and so do I. Coz the skin on my soles are so dry till they crack. I can just peel it off like a paper. Haha! Very scary rite?

Baobei was actually cracking her brain on where to get our nails done. I suggest to her to go Nailz Lab as I trusted Gladys lots.

My colleague gave me a $15 off with purchases above $30 Hip Diner USA voucher some time ago. And because of the tight schedule and CNY, I have no time to go and try their food. Expiry date is just the end of this month where I have got less than 3 days. So not to waste the voucher, I had to sacrifice Darling's time for his assignment.

We have decided the night will be a short one for us. Have a quick and hearty dinner then shop for awhile and back home after that. And indeed we did it. Hehe! The way they serve the food was quite fast. And it tastes not bad too.
Hope the below pictures does not make anyone drools... Haha!

The Grilled BBQ Chicken is nice. Rather sweet. When it was served, I thought that the serving was quite small coz the pan was just like the Pizza Hut's personal pan. But I was wrong. After finishing the chicken and half of the fries & onion rings, I was bloated. Darling had a DYO chicken burger. (DYO = Design Your Own)It's was nice but I prefer Billy Bomber's. Peach Blend was juz nice for me but Darling found it sour. So majority was finished by me. Haha!

Overall, the dining experience was not bad. Just that some locations have spot lights shining which make your eyes stressful and the seats are quite closely packed together.

I'm so blissed to have a bunch of colleagues who treat me very well. Whenever they got little rewards, they will share it with me. :-D I'm so pampered!!!

So the blissful little girl managed to have a sumptuous meal again. Hehe!
I was given the honour to choose and I pick The Soup Restaurant as I misses the Samsui Chicken after I try with Sharon last month.

We ordered a 2 person set meal which consists of half Samsui Chicken, 2 bowls of soup, 1 vege and stir-fried fish slices. Addition to that, we also ordered 1 bowl of soup, 1 meat pie with salted egg and 1 claypot tofu. The table was suppose to sit 5-6 pax but we 4 ladies actually took up the whole space with the food we ordered. Haha! We are big eaters aren't we??

After the meal, I almost can't make our way back as I was too full. Haha! It's a very nice dinner with lots of info exchange which we didn't manage to during office hours. I love this type of session more than those "which everyone was forced to attend after office hours".

I spend it in an enriching way. Learned lots of things. Very knowledgeable.

Meet up with Sweetie today. She wanted to remove her beloved acrylic as it has given some signs of dropping off. So I decided to go for full manicure as I have not done it during CNY and my nails are ugly.
I want to have a fresh & new start in my new job. So went for it.
I choose the color - OPI Cozu-Melted in the Sun. I love it very much. Although it looked very faint on the color template but when it on my hand, it was beautiful.

It's sweet reddish pink with glitter. :-D Hehe! Very matching to my toe nails.

My past few days flied by so quickly.

15th Feb
Went back home to have shower and dinner b4 heading to my Uncle's hse in Kim Tian Road.
It's a yearly routine that we will visit them. But this year our timing was slightly later then usual coz we spend more time in Malaysia.
Gathering with my Auntie & Uncle was very nice. Although they have aged, but my auntie still treat me & Bro the same. Offering many CNY goodies to us. Giving us the authority to open the fridge also. Haha!

16th Feb
Early morning I have to wake up and get ready to go to Grandaunt's house for prayers. So sad that I never get to see my little Cousin. Her mummy wasn't in time to get there b4 we left. We have to leave hastily as I'm having a gathering @ my house in the evening inviting the army boys, Mary & her boy, Sharon and my Darling. It's a big big group. Haha!
Luckily most of the food were for steamboat. Thus not much cooking except the soup base, vegetables and some Otah popiah which was my favourite. :-)
The group of us play mahjong & Blackjack till 2am in the morning. They were great company.

17th Feb
As Chinese New Year is ending soon, I had to go to the temple make prayers to 'Tai Sui' as I'm a RAT. We went to the temple in Pandan Gardens. It's our usual place. There is a God of Fortune there too. I make my prayers to him for a small winning. And true enough, I strike 4D that night. Although it's a small amount that I win but I'm already very happy. Coz it shows that I have luck in this year.
I had dinner @ Darling's house. His mum cook a very big spread. Every round of guest sitting down for dinner has a new fish being steamed.
P/S: The number that I strike was given by my mum. And usually I dun buy 4D. I was plain lucky that Darling called and mentioned that his mum is going to buy TOTO. So I just tag along. Hehe! I have to thanks this 2 precious woman. :-D

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!

My Valentine's Day was a simple one. Nothing fanciful and expensive. We went to Marina Square for dinner. And we had 2 dinner at 2 different places due to some missing orders. Should not say much on this as past is past. So I shall not dwell on it anymore. Hehe! Anyway, the dinner was a nice one with Darling. We had lots of fun ourselves laughing n giggling.

My presents... Darling is so nice. I already requested for nothing but he still send me flowers. Hehe! I appreciate it lots. Love my Darling the most. He is one who pampers me so much. The keychain symbolises the both of us. I love calling him a piggy and having him calling me a piglet. Hehe!

I had tendered my resignation this afternoon.
I know it seems so sudden to some of my friends coz I have not mention anything about leaving this job since I am so comfortable here.

Once I knew that I am firm on this decision, I seek help from friends on the format of the resignation letter.
I am very thankful for having so many friends helping me all these while.

I'm currently very emotional. Everything have been too sudden. I don't wish to talk about the details here. It will just be another sad thing to look at.

I know that I owe everyone lots of update. But I have got no choice as I'm too busy this CNY. So bear with it k? Thanks alot.

6th Feb
It's CNY Eve. But I still have to work till 12pm. So I went back to Johor straight after that. Luckily I had my cousin waiting for us at City Square. If not, the journey to reach Grandma's hse will be 2.5hrs.

Upon reaching, my mum got to the back of the kitchen and help out for the night's dinner - Steamboat. Well, this is one of the few things that I always look out for when I'm back in Malaysia. Coz there will be nothing much for me to do.

After dinner, my cousin invited me over to their house for mahjong. This is part of the routine and they always got me to be the camera lady for their family photo. Hehe!

7th Feb
The mahjong session lasted till 3am. After that I was exhausted and decided to turn in to bed. Slept all the way till 11am. Woke up and had lunch at 1pm. It was vegetarian steamboat. I had this for several years and I'm not tired of it. In fact, I love it to bits. Hehe!
After lunch, Cousin Don is going out, so I got him to drive me back to Grrandma's house.

In the late afternoon, my 3rd aunt came back with her family. She's the one we always supplied us with yummy otahs as she lived in Muar. I love the Otah popiah the best. It's nice.

That very night, I managed to convince Mum to cook that for me. Hehe!

8th Feb
My big aunt and 5th aunt came back. Little Jarius also came back. He was so cute. Remember during his 1st birthday I didn't manage to catch much glimpse of him. He was friendly too. Everyone also can carry him. Haha! But then, he will b fidgetting around. So no photo is taken with him yet. Not even his auntie aka Cousin Elena.

When everyone is back, my 4th auntie went to Langkawi. Guess it's better for her to go for a break. Only when she goes for a break, our ears will be peaceful.

9th Feb
Finally it's the day for me to get back to Singapore. I longed so much. Really can't keep me in places that doesn't have computer. This year, it's lucky that I got my NDSL with me. If not, I might be bored and my headache will come because of boredom.

Upon reaching Singapore, I took an hour rest at home b4 meeting Darling and proceed to Wei Da's house in Tampines. Although I feel tired from the tedious hours of rides but I still look forward in meeting my Darling coz I miss him too much.

10th Feb
Visit Darling's parents and brought the Bak Kwa over. Actually Auntie wanted to cook for us but because Darling was invited by his tutor so we went over. After that, I popped over at Darling house for a while more before going dinner @ Jac's house.

Dinner @ Jac's place was superb. Her maid was a great cook. I ate till I was bloated. Her curry chicken was very nice. Prawns were yummy. Hehe! I'm such a glutton.

5days of CNY just passed by so silently. I don't have enough time to go round visiting. Haiz... Got to skip some of the places and my parents & bro had to go in place of me. Sorry for the absent!

Lastly let us wish everyone Happy Chinese New Year!

I'm a naughty girl today again. I refuse to stay home even though I knew I'm not feeling well.
I went to work just because I think I can withstand the pain. But my body once again try to proof me wrong. Then I thought I can wait till the Bak Kwa which I had ordered for Darling's parent come. But I can't. Haiz...

In the end I had to make Darling come to office and fetch me to the doctor.

Appointment cancel with his mum. I can't deliver the goodies over. So I had to ask Darling to bring some up first and the Bak Kwa, I will bring it another day when I visit them during CNY.

P/S: Once again, I waited for the doctor for 15mins. I was dying with the throbbing brain. The blood vessels inside my head seems like going to burst anytime.

Today I had a nagging session for Darling. It's all because he refuse to listen to me for one DVD Player. I told him that bringing it with us for shopping is a hinder. Cause we had planned for lots of shopping and Darling didn't drive.

And those items I'm going to get wasn't light and small. They are all CNY goodies and bedsheet. So bringing one more item is adding more to our load.

We set off from West Mall n I nag him ever since after lunch from Bt Batok till Clementi station where he admit defeat and we turn back to his house to leave the player.

But that wasn't a short trip. Our plan was delayed slightly. Cause we end up swopping the DVD theatre system from his room to living room and setting up the new one in his room. This took us 3 hrs. But luckily it didn't really make us change much of the plan.

I still manage to get the CNY goodies @ Parco Bugis. I got the almond cookies which Darling & his mum like. It's under Lavender. My favourite brand for cookies & mooncake. :-) Other than that, I also got myself the walnut cookies n pandan love letters.

Finished with the goodies purchase, we proceeded down to Aljunied to get some cushion covers n bedsheets. Guess some of you might be thinking why do I have to travel so far for bedsheets & cushion covers. It's all because my trustworthy dealer is there. He is having a temporary stall there. And he is no other our OCM - Chee Ming. The bedsheets he supplied me are all good quality. And for those IKEA cushion, I can only find the covers at his side. He sell it cheaper then IKEA and more choices for me. My total damage there was 2 single bedsheet set, 1 queen bedsheet set, 1 queen bed protector and 2 cushion covers. Whereas Darling got 4 cushions n covers for his new sofa.

After that, it was late. We decided to turn back to the west side. And with thoughts that Mum is having her company Annual D & D at Arena, I suggest to Darling that we go drive her.

It was lucky that we went to drive her back. Cause it's very difficult to catch a cab there since it's Jurong Industrial Area. And if she were to wait for her colleagues to send her back, it will be past midnight.
