I had rebuked Darling for overlooking that my schedule. Becoz of his overlooked, I had to miss Ferlyn's solemnization... Haiz...

Well, it all started that we suppose to go for Darling's Graduation photo-taking at the studio on Thursday but due to his family cannot make it, he had it change to Sunday without checking with me. This is the last changes that he can make as his grandma will be going back to Malaysia the next day. Haiz... This is a big big decision making for me. BIG headache!!!

In the end, I ask Meifang to help me bring my ang bao to Ferlyn. I feel so sorry towards Ferlyn as I had gave her my promise earlier.

If the photo-shoot wasn't at 2.30pm on 3rd May, I would have attend. Haiz... I just couldn't make it in time for it. I was told the whole session will take 1.5 to 2hrs. By the time I finish it and rush down, it will be almost 5pm. Her solemnization is 5pm.

Thus I went ahead with the photo-shoot. It's was a pleasant one. But our expressions were all numb after numerous taking. Hehe! And lucky me, my make-up skill is still acceptable. No touch-up needed. I'm very scare of those common sponge used by studios. I feel that it's so unhygienic.

The samples can be review in 10days. I'm getting all excited about it. :-) I wonder how will I fare in it. It's like taking a test. Haha!

After the photo-shoot, Darling & I went out to catch a movie at Plaza Singapura. We watch X-men Origins: Wolverine. It was a very nice movie. I love the diamond girl... How I wish I can be one and I can be so bling! Keke! Nowadays storyline tends to revolve around the same love story/ tactics. So not much special in that way.

At Plaza Singapura, we also manage to spot a little stall at B2 which serves german sausages... Woohoo! Darling & I love sausages. Haha! We went to try and it tastes great!

I love their bacon & cheese toppings. Yummy! Yummy! Hehe! By the way, the type of sausages can be chose too. :-)

After the movie, we went back home as we were too tired to do anymore shopping. This photo-shoot was a good indication of how wedding photos are taken. It is sure to be more tedious a hundred times with the thick makeup and heavy gown...

I'm so proud & happy today.

It's my Darling's Big Day. Finally he graduated with a First Class Honors from UOL. Not only that, he is a award winner. Bronze in BSc Computing & Information Systems.

I'm also very happy for all his classmates. They all graduated with very good results. At least a 2nd upper. :-D I Hope with this, they would be able to find a job that they like in this current economy.

All the best to the graduates.

By the way, side track from this happy event. I got another to announce. I'm going away for a short trip. Will be back in Malaysia @ Grandma's house till Sunday. :-D

This year, I seem to be going through quite a number of trainings.

I just completed my 2nd training of the year. The course is called "ESS - Innovation & Enterprise (Supervisory)".

The duration of the course was 4 half days. I think this is good for me as I got time in the afternoon to complete my work. No overtime needed and my colleague won't be too stressful.

The whole module covers on being innovation and creative. Teaching employees how to have their ideas generated and speak up. And be creative and take initiative at work. It's fun throughout as we were told to design some products. I think my group was the best among all. Haha! We know how to attract our attention to our products. Even the other session knew what we have design and the trainer also comment that we can give it a thought in making it for sale. Haha! :-D

4 days past very quickly. I love this course. It's really nice. Just like a breakthrough from work. Training also allows us to mingle more with our colleagues and understand them when we didn't normally.

Now, I have got another additional certificate to add into my resume. :-)

In view of the current trend, my company also send us for training.

The very first training session for the year is Personal Effectiveness (Supervisory).

It is under the Employability Skills System (Workplace Skills Series) which has been emphasized all the while.

The 2 days of training was very fun. There are more practical stuffs as compare to my previous training last year. I don't like stuffs that are very dry. They just simply can't be entered into my mind and I tend to fall asleep while listening to the trainer talking.

Although some of the points in the course - Personal Effectiveness was already made known to ourselves earlier but we had always cast it aside. Now, we are clearer on the points and can also enhance to make things better. Sometimes, we just need people to highlight the importance of things to us.

Now I'm starting think of courses that I wanted to go. But, do my company have any subsidies for it? It's a headache!!! And during this economy, can I request to go for training course subsidies by company???

Richard, wish you all the best in your studies @ Adelaide.

Just had a farewell dinner with Richard and the rest @ Tian Tian Steamboat in Bugis.
The whole session was fun-loving. Richard dare not take food which had a trace of rawness. He was afraid that he might had diarrhea when he was about to board his flight. Auntie Jenny & I just whack everything that we had in our pot of soup and most of it was veggies. Hehe!

The atmosphere got tense with sadness when we are about to go home as we can't bear to part with our dear friend. Although he is leaving for good but we just can't bear to. This also means that during our CNY celebrations, there will be 1 person lesser.

Btw, it was the first time I had dinner there. Overall experience not bad. They give us the so-called VIP seats upstairs. I'm not too sure there is any difference in the variety of food but I just know the environment upstairs seems to be cleaner. Price is ok. We spend about $18/pax.

5 years...

We graduated in the year 2004...

I can't imagine that it's been so long. Time really flies...
Everyone is still the same except the girls are getting prettier & the guys are getting more manly.

It's a great night out...
I miss everyone. Too bad the night was too short. We only manage to catch up abit. But it's better than nothing.
Sad to say that some of them can't make it to the dinner just now. The absentees are Evangeline, Zane, Rosanne, Renee, Shili & DeKun. AS for Hery, I guess not one contacted him.

I'm now looking for another gathering soon. Hope to catch up more with one another during the next gathering.

Current updates: Liting is going back to Australia. YuTian got a flat and is getting married soon. Shanne is also catching up I guess. Kok Ann is furthering his studies @ Uni SIM (he give me some motivation to go also. so I'm considering!) Evangline is no longer an air stewardess. DeKun is now helping out in his friend's businesses.

Good News!

I passed the test which I took last friday.
Hehe! My score was one of the highest in the class. 94% I'm so happy!

Today was another test on the lessons we had on the past 3 days. The past 3 days lessons was more fun then the previous coz there's a practical lesson. It's a game that make us do some calculations and use the statistics to predict. And in this game, my team come out the top. :-)

Each of us got a prize money of $40. Hehe! I'm so happy.

But now I'm starting to worry about the test I did today. It's much more tougher then last friday as there is more calculations and the worst thing is that I don't understand how to use the calculations. Let's pray hard that I'll pass this round. Coz if I passed, it means that I have passed the whole module. :-)

Updated on 9th Dec - I have passed my test. :-D I got 84% this round. Not too bad I guess. Hehe! Now the next thing to worry is the project!!!

I have to go for the Six Sigma Green Belt course.
It will last me 6 days and there are 2 parts.

I had just complete the first part of the course last friday. Although the course was very enriching but it was so tiring for me. As I have to juggle between my work and studies. Especially now it's tougher coz I have do some updating for customer and my internal system. But luckily the course was conducted in the office premises which allows me to shift in and out conveniently and get things done.

The friday was such a stressful day for me as I have to study for test. Everything was still very new to me. I don't even understand after going back and read the textbook again.

Thus basically I took the test with high risk that I will fail coz the passing grade is 75%.
Haiz... all I can do it to pray hard that I can achieve a result with at least 80%.

Finally let me welcome my dear girl on her admission to the Society University. This university provide her the lifetime course. Whether she get a First - Class Honours / just Merit all depends on how well she wish to strive... If she still stay put where she is, I can say that sooner or later the University will kick her out. Hehe!
