Finally it's time for me to sum up my Bintan trip with photos taken on the past few days.

If I were to be asked whether I want to go Bintan again, I would answer Yes. But I will try a different resort and go to the Kelong for their seafood. :-) I'm a curious girl!

What are the things that we can do in Bintan Lagoon Resort?

Basically there are two main areas that we can have fun in.

Land & Sea.

Let me start off with the Sea first.
There are 2 very beautiful swimming pool at the hotel premised. So for those who are afraid that you might be wash off in the sea, can get yourself a dip there.
Or can go to the Pasir Panjang Beach for a nice tanning session like what TY & R did. Better still, those who are bold and adventurous can go try the sea sports like Wakeboarding, Water Skiing etc.

In Bintan Lagoon, they have a Leisure Centre.
In there, there are Table Tennis, Basketball, Pool, Billiard, Arcade games and KTV singing. I wonder what are the songs available in the lounge. All Malay or Indonesian songs?

Darling and I took this when we are exploring round the resort on the first day.
Can anyone spot the difference in the 2 pictures?

Answer: Both of us swop our position. Hehe! :-)

Other then the Leisure Centre, there's a Golf - Driving Range and Archery. Archery have to be pre-book at Leisure Centre before you can start shooting. There will be a instructor to guide you. The pricing for the Golf & Archery are quite reasonable.

Hehe! My first try for Golf. Do I look professional? Am I talented?

Maybe I should go take up the course and then I will get to know some 'Sugar Daddy' during the game? Haha!

Next, for people who are adventurous, can go try ATV - All Terrain Vehicle or Go-Kart. Then can go roaming round. Hehe! Pricing is too expensive and the duration is short. And since not everyone willing to go for it, we gave it a miss.

But we drove our buggy round the resort area. Haha!

We got to make full use of all the resources we had right?

Then come back to the indoor. The night is very dark over there and most of the leisure activities was closed. Luckily I brought my travelling Monoploy and Eric brought playing cards over so we can play Bridge and Big 2 till midnight. Wayne was the funniest. Every game we play he will named himself the Prince for it. But that doesn't bring him luck. He was the one to declare bankrupt in Monopoly for 3 rounds. LOLz. We also rent the Mahjong set from the Leisure Centre. Rental cost: 1 day (24hrs) = S$20. Do you think it's expensive?

Lastly, there's one thing that surprise me. The Leisure Centre will organise different activity everyday of the week. From Monday - Sunday from around 7am in the morning till 4pm in the late afternoon. The activities are:- Morning jog, Aerobics, Table Tennis, Yoga, Pilates etc. So nice isn't it??? Some more some are free.But do you think anyone will take part? Most guests that are there is to relax. Do you think they want to keep themselves so occupied? I would rather rest and relax at the beach to watch babes & hunks. Haha!

Sorry for the delay and making my viewers wait till now. Finally I can sit down and do the review of my Bintan trip. I was delayed as I have not received all the photos till recently.

Everything @ Bintan Lagoon was nice. There's welcome dance and drink upon arriving at the lobby.

For the villa area, it's rather quiet as this is the non-peak season I believe. Not all fully occupied with guests. Especially the area I stayed. There are 2 villas under maintenance.

The villa where I stay for 4 days...

There are quite a number of dining options in the resort, but we only check out at the Kopi-O for Saturday night's buffet which is Seafood Grill and at the Pasir Panjang Beach Bar for a drink.

Kopi-O serve Theme Buffet which is different everyday. We find Saturday's to be the most worthwhile. Well, after trying, we find that the food taste so-so only. But the desserts are great. Love the cakes. ;-) If I were to do a comparison, it's considered reasonable. But if looking at the variety of the food provided and the standard of living there, it's slightly on the high end. Cost of the dinner: SGD31.00 after discount (Special discount for occupant - 20%)
Normal Price: SGD 32.00 excluding tax and service charge.

Food @ Kopi-O. The theme buffet.

Pasir Panjang Beach Bar serve snacks and beverages. We had 2 smoothies and 1 banana split there. Total damage: SGD 27.50. (Inclusive of tax) Each smoothie cost SGD 8.00 and Banana split cost SGD 9.00.

Darling & I spend time sitting there and observing people. Nice way to relax and not get tan. Haha!

Other restaurants are too expensive for us. We check out the Nelayan Grill and Miyako Japanese Restaurant, each pax can cost up to SGD100 for a dinner. Thus we make our way out to the nearby Pasar Oleh Oleh for the other 2 dinner. The food there was not bad. I prefer the food at Idola than HeLo HeLo. Idola has nicer presentation and varieties for you to choose from. The price at both were about the same. For a set dinner and transport, we spend ard SGD20/pax.

It's a pity that we didn't check out The Kelong. Heard that the food there are yummy and fresh. Hopefully I get the chance next time. :-P

Now, let's take a look at some of the food I took during the trip.

Looking at the menu seem so worth as there's crab and prawns. But when served, it's abit disappointing. I would rather leave out the crab n prawns and give us some thing else in exchange.

The food here is more presentable then Cafe Helo Helo.

So looking by looking at the above photos makes u drool??? And now you know how I gain weight right? Haha! Time to go for slimming.

Yeah! After all the tedious arrangements and long waiting session, I got my hair back straight and silky.

I love my hair so much now. It's so flat and neat. Easily maintain too. Hehe!

But there goes my $120 for the rebonding. *pout!* Spending again. But result is I got pretty. Hehe! On top of it, I spend another $60 for a Syoss 3-step treatment which I think it's worth. Syoss products are great! And my hair definately need some nutrients after all the heat and chemicals.

OMG! Cindy is such a spendthift!!!

This Christmas wasn't a good one for me. Coz I have spend way too much into my savings. Haiz, there are too much things on my list to be purchased. I wonder how am I going to survive till end of next month when I have almost wiped out my current.

Well, no choice liao. Now I can only look forward and no more backward. Review on the things I spend. Are they reasonable and justifiable?

Ermz, I think so...
So far, I have only bought the following items.
Wardrobe: IKEA Pax Wardrobe (self-design for interior)- $700
Phone model: N81 - $188 (promotions)
Vacuum Cleaner model: FC8438/02 - $209
Total damage: S$1100

I feel that the wardrobe and vacuum cleaner is a good buy but not for the phone. Coz I dun get to use it. :-( It's a belated b'day cum Christmas present for my brother. So it's not my property anymore. Sad sad.

Now with a bigger wardrobe, my clothes, bags and miscellanous things cannot be hidden. Hehe! And the vacuum cleaner will ease Mum from the household chores slightly.

After all, I not a spendthirft right?

I was actually looking forward to this gathering at Vivocity's Carnivore Restaurant when I saw the list of people involved.

But at actual, only 50% of the list turn up. I was disappointed. I thought I'm able to see my ex-colleagues that I have not met for long. But too bad, they are all busy with their stuff.

But nevertheless, I enjoy my 1st time at Carnivore. It's a great experience. Brazilian Dining. It's a rare chance for me. :-P

All the meat were served at ur desk. Vegetables, Appetizers, Desserts etc were at the self-service bar. It's almost like semi-buffet.

I like the Bacon with Chicken. It's nice as I love Bacon lots. The pork neck meat & lamb is not bad too. Yummy! There's also fish available. But the one thing I don't quite like is that the cooking style can be the same for different type of meat. Like for Chicken & Beef, all can go with bacon. And bcoz of this, I made a mistake in taking it. Haiz...

Anyone heard of baked pineapple? I saw it there. Haha! It surprise me. Heard it's tasty but I didn't try as pineapple is too acidic for me.

Overall, the food was ok but the price was too high. $50nett/pax!!! I believe I can spend on things which is better than this. After our dinner, we went over to the German Bar nearby where Long had his dinner. He was late as he just drove back from Kuala Lumpur. Well, can't be blame as it's a business trip and moreover, he already try his best to rush over but outside Vivocity, it's always jam packed with cars.

Darling & I was rushing against time for this movie on Christmas Day. And we can't possibly catch the later one as we are meeting Yanling & Friends for dinner at Great World City.

Movie starts at 4.15pm. Both of us suppose meet at 3.30pm at Dhoby Gaut MRT and walk over to get the tickets. But who knows what happen. It was too much of a coincidence that Darling and I were held up by things unknowingly. So I took a cab down. Just in time to get the last 2 seated-together ticket. It seems like it's reserved for us. We were so lucky. Though are a few individual seats scattered around.

National Treasure: The Book of Secrets was a fantastic film. I was engrossed in it totally. Too bad I miss the first one which Darling say it was nicer. :-) The way they went searching for the clue was so exciting. There's a few times that I clenched my fists with fear that Benjamin Gates might get caught.

Finished our movie around 6.30pm, we took a bus down to Great World City to meet up with the rest for dinner before proceeding to our room in Grand Copthorne Hotel.

First year first time having my Christmas spend in hotel room. It was so exciting for me. I'm so looking forward actually.

After going through the shop directory of Great World City a few times, we finally decide to dine at Say Cheezecake. The layout of the place was warm. Great place for high tea. The cheesecake in the shelf seems delicious. But too bad, I didn't have a chance to try it.
Look at the picture. Nice layout right? Food was tasty too. Not a bad choice.

Sorry that I'm only able to quote 4 types of food that we have ordered as we were seated at separate tables so I do not know what the rest ordered.

After dinner, we went down to Cold Storage to stock up some snacks & drinks for the night. Long long shopping over there. Coz we are undecisive on the alcohol we wanted and unable to find any 1.5L Sprite. I wonder how come it's so sellable.

Back in the room we start with a game which I have not play before. So Jiafu is our teacher of the day. And in between, we are caught with things like "Rules set by others", "Toilet Card", "Word Rhyme", "Branding", "King Card", "Queen Card" etc.

And these make ourselves be caught with all sorts of punishments set by others.There's one that I love most is "Post as a cool model". This is the last one before Darling & I left for home as I got work the next day.

Let me start with wishing everyone... ...

Merry Christmas!!!

Hope all have an enjoyable day celebrating Christmas!

Darling and I had decide on the last minute to bring forward our celebration for 2nd Anniversary together as we knew that we can't do it on the actual day itself.

So last night, without any dinner booking, we went to Fish & Co at Suntec City to have our Christmas Eve Dinner. It was a nice one. I love having Seafood Platter with Darling. Coz everytime without fail, he will snatch up all the rice. Well, he is a fast eater and he knew that eventually I can't finish up everything so he just gobble everything. Hehe!

But this time round, he actually left some rice for me that make me so full. Haha! Don't know why. I just have this feeling that the serving was bigger this time? Regulars of Fish & Co, am I wrong about the bigger portion of serving? Maybe it's my illusion.

After the dinner, we went up to the fountain for the breeze. It was so comfortable lying on my Darling's arms and hearing lots of cars bypassing our back. The lighting in front of us was so beautiful. And there, I pass Darling's surprise to him. I got him the latest arrival Braun Buffel wallet. It was to mark our 2nd Anniversary & his birthday. And why Christmas gift wasn't this??? It's because I have purchase another gift for him at Genting. :-D It's personally picked by himself. Hehe!

It's my first Christmas gathering with friends for the year. But it's not with my friends. It's with Darling's poly classmates. At least I know them some of them already. If not, I guess I will b rather bored.

Venue for the gathering was at Funan Swensens. I had Swensens for 2 days continuously. But I dun mind as there's so much variety of food for me to try. Hehe!

Just the Christmas Menu, there are 4 sets. So being curious and doesn't want to stick to the normal menu, I order the Dory cutlet. It was deep fried till so hard that I have difficulties cutting and biting it. It was a bad choice.

The gift exchanging part was nice. Each of us draw from a bag to see who gets our gift. I myself got half a dozen of Chicken Essence. Haha! And on it there was a Sakae Sushi $5 off voucher. Hehe! Great gift for me isn't it?

As I do not have any photos taken at the dinner. Darling and I decided to take some sweet loving photos on the way back. Here are my personal favourite.

Shortly after celebrating my 2 babes b'day, I am busy in another one. :-P
It's Terence's birthday on Thursday. So we decided to celebrate for him in advance.

Decision was made fast this round as all our schedule are rather tight. Thus also contributing to a small headcount too as it was quite last minute.

Even the venue was change at the last minute. At first I was suggesting Hong Kong Cafe @ Novena but we change to Swensens @ Jurong Point instead. Not a bad choice actually. :-P Coz we got a big earthquake.

We also tried the Christmas menu. The Chicken Kebabs were tasty and I heard that the turkey cutlet were not too bad except slightly dry. They come in a set with fruit juice & soup. Yummy & filling for me. :-D

The dinner session was full with so much joke & laughter. I laugh so much till I can't take it. Haha!

Towards to end of the dinner, we presented Terence's present to him. It's a Creative Stone Plus MP3 player which he had requested. Hehe!

Let me wish him a very happy birthday in advance!!!

As promised, I finally got the chance to post up the photos taken in Genting.
Well there wasn't much photos taken coz most of the time Darling & I were either shopping, eating or resting. Hehe! Then also I need a decent camera. Coz with my current phone camera, I can't any photo of Wayne on stage as we are sitting quite far away.

In my personal opinion, the competition and food were so-so. Nothing for me to rave about. Everything is norm. It's expected.

The objective for this trip was to celebrate Christmas, enjoy ourselves and give Wayne moral support. I'm so happy that we had fulfil it.

This is the only photo taken on 1st day. We were both totally drained on the way up. The bus journey took 11hrs. Luckily I did not book Jolin's concert ticket in advance. If not, I will be panicking throughout the journey and Darling got to tolerate my nagging. Haha! But even if I have booked the tix in advance, I guess Darling will b bored. He doesn't really fancy all these. But this doesn't mean he detest them.

2nd day was slightly better one as time is controlled fully by ourselves except in the evening. We got to be seated in at 6.30pm. Competition aka the show will start at 7pm.
But in the end it was delayed as usual. Around 7.30pm then they official start the program. The hosts were DJs from FM 100.3 whom I do not know the 2 of them. Haha! I'm a royal fan of FM 93.3 Hehe! I also manage to see Ling Ling Zhi in person. She's pretty. :-)

As the weather was cloudy and drizzling, Outdoor theme park wasn't open.
And having 2 return ticket for Genting Skyway, we went to try.

Take a closer look. Actually there are some soft-toy in the cable car. Hehe!

At Genting Skyway, there's a shop that sells preserved plums, candies & tidbits. Haha! There are so many for us to taste. Just like the supermarket in Japan. Free tasting. So after tasting all their products, we found that it wasn't very cheap as compare to Singapore thus no point for us to carry the stuff back all the way. And guess what, the next thing we realise is that we are full from the tasting. Haha!

Then we went back to the hilltop after that.

After all the fun, we took a rest and get ourselves prepare for the night. Time flies. The night was gone too. After the show, we went to the casino but it was so packed that we didn't manage to try our luck on the table.

3 days is so short. No theme park and gambling. But Darling & I still spend a splendid time together. We really had lots of fun sharing the food. Especially on the last day. We skip the breakfast and purchase a burger meal from Marry Brown, a kebab, a prata sausage w egg(my favorite) and a cup of Soda. I love this so much. It's really yummy to eat this way. I believe this is better then any other delicacy available there.

Then we set off @ 1pm from the hotel lobby. I only reach home at 10pm.
There are so many coaches at the customs. All going through 2nd Link.

P/S: The breakfast @ First World Cafe seems to be getting worse. There isn't much food varieties available.

We had a Christmas dinner at M Hotel's Cafe 2000 on 18th Dec 07. But it seems to be an informal one. Coz it's so unlike the traditional with gifts exchange etc.
Well but we care less on that. Most importantly, we enjoy ourself that night and have a good dinner to celebrate the upcoming season - Christmas.

Actually Grace & I have a tedious time in deciding the final place for our dinner. Every where seems to be so expensive. When we only have the budget of $50 nett for each pax. Some more, we do not know whether food there is nice or not. And all the booklets that bank gave out every month on their privileges did not mention much on the food but only the goodies.

Finally, Grace manage to find this on a Chinese newspaper. Deciding not to let any chance slip, we book a place there.

Well, it wasn't a bad choice made. Food there was nice. The atmosphere was great too. Most importantly, the people we went with.

We were served with semi-buffet dinner. We will choose the main course and the rest of the appetizers and desserts will be "help yourself" from their counters.

The food on the top 2 photo were from the buffet bar and they are not all. We were indulging so happily that we forgot the pictures.
Bottom 2 are the main course. I love the Turkey Breast Meat. It's so tenderly cooked.
And the Roasted Ham with honey sauce. It's delicious!

Guess what, for all the above, after all the relevant taxes & charges and Citibank 10% promotion, we only pay $35 nett/pax. It's a good deal isn't it???

So we had a celebration for the both of them on Monday. Met up for dinner @ Bugis Junction.

Our dinner feast. Seafood Platter. Every big serving. Luckily we did not order other items. It's too much for us to finish.

Last photo to end the day. Before Jiali left us for home and the rest of us went to Anchor Point to pick Hao.

As Hao has to work for another 1 n a half hr, we the 3 girls were sitting at the pickup point chit-chatting everything under the moon. :-D

It's a nice night. I enjoy it and look forward to the next one which was plan for 1st Jan 08.

But I got a bit sick of the cake as I ate too big a slice. The cream stop me taking another and it's sweet. Well, cakes are suppose to be sweet, isn't it?
Hehe! I like the apple slices and the white chocolate. Btw, there is coffee powder sprinkle on it too. :-D

Darling's little cousin is here. So we went to watch Alvin & The Chipmunks on its official opening. Very cute little cousin. 2nd time of him going to the cinema and he behaves well throughout the show. I was surprise. Maybe he loves this show n that's why . :-P

I love them lots. It's a very nice movie. *ThumBs uP* It's heartwarming too.
Towards to end of the movie. Very basic storyline but it bring back lots of memories for me. Remembering how popular Alvin & The Chipmunks was in my younger days.

Recommended for all to watch. One of the movie that we can watch for this upcoming season. :-)

I don't understand why people has to be so materialistic in things. I dun understand why myself has to be one of them also.

Why can't be things make simpler?

I have been earning very hard to pamper myself with things I want. But I still can't reach the target like many others did.

I felt so breathless now. I seem to be cornered. I feel imbalanced.

One hand, I have been saving like mad but on the other, because of some reasons or another, I have to spend like nobody's business.

Haiz... I have been pampering others all the while. I wonder when is my turn to be pampered. I want so many things but it's beyond my reach. I wonder who can assist me.

I guess I guess I need a Sugar Daddy! But where can I find one???

Just finished partying with my colleagues. It's so fun!
Haha! I love it. My boss was really nice. All expenses covered by him. And my engineer make it a point to send Grace & I back. I'm so fortunate to have such colleagues. Really pampered!!!

We had food at Cafe Iguana. The Mango Margarita there was yummy! I almost have to gulp down one jug of it coz it's ice blend. *sLurp* I like the Mexican Food there.
If I have the chance, I will invite my girlfriends there to dine n chill. But reservation has to b done in advance as we wait for almost an hr b4 getting a seat on the high raised tables indoor.

Partying doesn't give me a chance to camwhore as I wanna enjoy every drop of alcohol, every piece of food and every note of music. So I only manage to capture some photo of myself when I'm back!

See my room. The color will transform. Some more it's transforming between pink & purple. Haha! Darling's n my favourite.

I'm so happy to have such a sweet room. After adoring it for 5 days, I'm still can't get enough. :-D

And I'm indeed one ok! So no more denying. Haha! Coz with fever, I still managed to paint my room.

I'm a girl who won't admit defeat easily unless really no choice. Thus I did numerous number of things that deserve to be nagged and scolded. Haha!

Just like Friday, I knew I'm not in top form but I still trying to be tough. But it makes things worst. I make so many pple worried for me. Haiz... *Sorry Darling & friends! Sorry for being stubborn.*

Then come to Saturday, I wake up fine and went ahead with wedding lunch and banquet thinking that I'm Wonder Woman and had fully recovered. So during the wedding lunch, I drank a few glasses of wine and eat what ever I want like a healthy kid. But when afternoon came, I was abit feverish.

But didn't want to be defeated, I stay on with my promise and went to the banquet with Darling & his parents. Everything ended around 11pm. By the time, I was really drained. Darling sent me home and got me Panadol from kiosk. I realise the fever was back. Had a quick shower as I was shivering no matter how hot the water was. Pop down the medicine n down to bed. Then it will be another day to go again.

Do I look sick???

I think I look shagged.

Every year's 25th Dec has been a standard for Darling & I since 2005. Nothing grand but sweet will happen. We will celebrate our Anniversary then.

This year we celebrate a day earlier which is on 24th as 25th we will be meeting with Darling's UOL OG friends. As we got a very 'memorable' experience last year, this year we decided to go slightly low-profile. Another reason is we already celebrate in Genting a week ago. Thus shall go slightly more cost saving too.

Seafood platter for 2 has always been our signature dish in Fish & Co. Whenever we went there as a couple, we will order it and their Passion Fruit with free flow @ additional $2. The calamari will also be replaced with Fried instead of Grilled. :-)

I don't know how come the platter seems so big this round. Maybe recently I have been seeing so many things shrinking in size/portion due to the price increase everywhere. The meal was a very filling one. Love it lots.

After the meal, we did nothing much but went to the fountain there to enjoy some breeze and I pass Darling his present. It is suppose to be a Anniversary cum Christmas present but I got him a bag in Genting which Darling keep claiming it's his Christmas present. So this will be his Birthday present instead. And it's a very early one. Keke!

While we are busy with his present opening and changing it from the old to the new, we also notice that the lights were very beautiful. So we took some photos to mark our 2nd Anniversary.
