This year's Comex Show has been a fabulous & rewarding one for me.

Darling & I went on the last day of the show. Not that we purposely want go on the last day but it's because of our busy schedule.

Well, practically on the last day there suppose to be better deals etc. But all these are based on stock availability.

At the Comex Show, I finally got the gadgets that I wanted badly. A brand-new camera & a LCD Monitor.

Actually my main purpose there was to get a camera. The LCD monitor can wait till a later date. But my dearest Darling pamper me so much that he gave it to me as a gift. He doesn't want to see me in dilemma and regret after the show.

So my great deals @ the Comex Show are as follows:-

1) Sony Cyber Shots T70 @ S$399 inclusive of 2 x batteries, 2 x 4gb memory stick, digital camera kit, screen protactor, mini tripod & dry box.

2) 20' LCD Monitor from Benq @ S$239 (Citibank Promo - S$241 with free mouse.)

Now my room looks better. :-D

Last night I went for a fabulous dinner. It was one of the nicest dinner I ever had so far.

Suddenly I realised this is the way which one can really pamper themselves with when they have the ability to do so.

How spendthrift one can be if they wanted to.

Now, I'm starting to miss the dishes. How I wish I can have the ability to enjoy this kind of lifestyle once every quarter of the year.

It's a real indulge for me...

Suppose to be the 4 besties' gathering but it ended up with 3 of us only.

Once again Jiali can't make it. It's has been twice in the row that she has rejected us. I wonder what happen. Haiz. It has always been a last minute rejection. Hope she is getting on well.

We had dinner at Joyce's recommendation - Astons Specialities.
The food is cheap and good. Location was not too bad too. Great for movie lovers. :-)

The Astons Specialities outlet that we went to was located at The Cathay Level 4.
When we first reach there, we thought we have to wait quite long for our turn as there are around 20pax in front of us. But to our surprise, their turnover was quick. And actually there are outdoor seats too. But too bad that sector was closed as it was raining heavily before that.

Look at the dishes we had.

It's a full set meal. Each of us had it complete with Mushroom Soup & IBC Rootbeer. The best thing is that you may pick any of the side dishes on the menu as your 2 side dishes. I love this idea. As there are times that I hate the side dishes that was allocated. With all the flexibility given for choices, the prices are very reasonable. Total bill for the 3 of us was added up to S$46.30 with 7% GST and no 10% service charge.

After dinner, we went to Plaza Singapura for a quick shopping trip. Bought the Lemongrass Foot Spray from The Body Shop as we thought it's good. Then we head to Starbucks and start our usual chatting session coz all the shops was closed. We shared cab back at around 11pm+.

I had actually took Darling's house n car key back home yesterday.

You see how blur I can be.

Because of this, I think I had created inconvenience to him and his dad.

Although Darling did not mention anything or blame me for my blurriness but I still feel very sorry about it.

To makeup for it, I'm going to deliver the keys personally back to his doorsteps later in the evening. :-)

What are the things that are not to be miss in the Lunar Calendar's 7th month?

Lots right??? And one of it will be the Getais, isn't it?

Terence, GuoZhong, WeeXiong, HongYe & I had decided to go and watch Getai today before the 7th month end. After checking at Stomp, we found that the nearest one will be at GreenRidge Shopping Centre which is very near GuoZhong's house. And since we have been discussing to have dinner at the coffeeshop nearby his house whenever we passby. We will make it happen. :-)

The food there was nice. We also make our first attempt to order cereal prawn even GuoZhong can't take seafood. And becoz we order 'CEREAL' prawns, he started to fall in love with the cereals. Hehe! So this allow us to have seafood next time. One stone kill 2 birds. It's great, isn't it?

Other than that, we also ordered their famous Crispy Chicken & Seafood Tofu. Very common dish name but the display is unique.

Each tofu seems like a bird nest. Very crispy. I love it.

After dinner, we went up to GuoZhong's house and slack before going to the Getai at 9.30pm. Upon reaching there, we realise it's not the traditional Getai that we expected thus we were abit sad. It's actually Stage Performance for National Day Celebrations.

We also get to meet CheeMing there and we went for a drinks session with lots of jokes going round. Had such a good laugh before we went home for our sweet dreams. :-D

Met my Sweetie for our weekly window shopping session in Orchard.

Walked round our usual spots. Far East Plaza, Wisma Atria & Takashimaya.
Everywhere is now changing into the Autumn-Winter session. Thus nothing much I can buy now. Haiz. :-(

And since we are on budget (month-end is near), dinner has to be low cost for us.

But the both of us never gets to do the calculations well every time. This time was no exception too. Haha!

We walked over to CineLeisure for our favourite Papaya Soup noodles @ Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe. And there we ordered a whole table of food. Hehe! (*Darling will b shaking his head when he sees the table of food we ordered!)

Sweetie & I loves to eat but the problem is that every time the serving comes in servings that is enough for 3-4pax. Haiz.

The total damage for this table of food was bout $40. The spring roll was a complimentary dish for us as since we will be using DBS cards.

Sad to say that not all the above dishes sort my taste. Spring roll was so-so. Carrot cake was tasteless to me. Prawn-sauced chicken was like the Indian Rojak dough. Curry Chicken sauce had solidify a layer very fast which I wonder why. The item which we love lots was the Chicken Chop noodles with Papaya soup & our drinks.

Another ordinary weekend (Sat) for Darling & me.
Meet up in the late afternoon at Ang Mo Kio Central to help his classmate - Huiling to collect her birthday cake before proceeding to her chalet in Changi.

Travelling from Ang Mo Kio to Tampines via Yishun by Bus-969 is much more faster than taking MRT. Coz it goes by highway. :-D

It was Hui Ling's belated b'day celebrations. And so was her brother. I didn't know that she has a twin brother till today. Haha! I had known her through Darling for about 2 years. Well, maybe I didn't bother to ask more.

Btw the celebration was a great one. Her BBQ stuff was all from her brother's company. All very yummy! I love the cheese tofu, mini cheese sausages, otah, sotong balls, sausages and etc. The chicken fillet was not marinate I think. They just add the satay sauce while BBQ. I miss out the chicken wings which I think it's a pity. Haiz.

Hehe! I manage to get a namecard from Huiling. Can consider to order from them next time. Their packaging very nice. The mini sausages, cheese tofus were all skew in mini bamboo stick which makes it very convenient for BBQing. Not only that, all the food were packed in small styrofoam boxes.

I love the birthday cake that she has. It was printed with Care Bear. (Birthday girl's favorite)

Throughout the event, I was either staying near the BBQ Pit with Darling as he is doing his job as the chef or watching the Olympics games with his friends.

After that, we manage to hitch a ride from Weiyang back to Darling's house first then he sent me home.

After watching Money Not Enough 2, I decided to act fast and catch the next Singapore Production's 12 Lotus.

A year ago, Director Royston Tan produces a bling bling movie. A year later, a similar movie was produced but not as bling as the first one anymore.

This story was told be a sad and miserable story of a girl named 'LianHua'.

Well, after watching the movie, I feel this movie will not be as well-liked as Money Not Enough 2. The storyline needs more thinking involved at some parts and it was very shallow. To my understanding, the main lead - Lian Hua was cheated of her money by 3 guys throughout her whole life.

1st - Her dad. (acted by Huang Yi Liang)
He took away every single cent of her hard-earned money for gambling, smoking & drinking.

2nd - Her lover-Ah Long. (acted by Qi Yiwu)
He cheated her out of her feelings and make use of her to make a sum from the underground big boss(黑道老大). He just took the money from the 老大 and allow them to rape her. After that he left with the money.

3rd - A guy who look like her lover. (acted by Qi Yiwu)
He happen to came knocking by LianHua's house door and LianHua mistaken that Ah Long has came back for her after 20 years. Actually this guy is just a salesman who goes round selling fake magic stones to cheat housewifes & aunties of their money.

The movie have some very nostaglic places taken. One is Har Par Villa and the other if I'm not wrong was at Havelock Road. It brings me of many memories.

One comical scene was that David Gan was helping to wash the statue of Goddess of Mercy (GuanYin)'s hair. His lines and Lian Hua's lines was so comical. Haha! And Liu Ling Ling was acted as the senior Lian Hua did very well in holding on to the broken statue of Goddess of Mercy and running around Bugis Street and Waterloo Street asking for help.

Overall this movie has got my liking as I love the 'blingness' of it. Actually there are other part of it which is funny. But I don't wish to be a spoiler and spoil the box office sales.

Well, if free and nothing to do, can catch it during the weekdays non-peak hours. It's still worth it as it's quite entertaining. :-)

I have heard lots of feedback of this movie yet I had never got the time to catch it in cinema.

2 weeks have been over for this movie. Box office have been very good for it too.

So not to give it a miss, I gather Terence, Hongye, ShiXiong and Brother to watch it together yesterday. Haha! It was National Day yesterday and we went to watch such a movie. Haha! Really a joke of the day isn't it?

The movie that we caught was MoneyNot Enough 2.

Story line was very down to earth and common. Only thing that I was impressed was the idea of ERP.

The rest of it was well-known in Singapore already like having scapegoat for traffic summons, the multi-level marketing cum medical lawsuit (Like the famous Slim 10 case), sending aged parents to old folks home etc.

Overall, the movie was not bad. The part where involve filial piety was very true. I guess it had let alot of people awaken from their behaviour and will start to change and treat their parents better?

A very good movie for families especially for parents who can quote the examples from it to coach their kids. :-)

Wee Xiong's birthday celebration was a simple one @ West Mall's Swensens.
Actually suppose to be at Sakae Sushi but too bad that Terence miss out the reservation.

There's a U.S. Promotion Menu and all of us ordered our main courses from there except GZ coz he had his full before he join us. But I can see that he was not in the mood that night due to his toothache?

After dinner, we had to shift other place for the cake cutting as they do not allow us to cut it there due to the 'Halal' policy. Thus we shifted to McDonalds. :-)

We joked alot through the cake-cutting session. And the Birthday Boy got sabotage this round. Haha! We took the video too. :-D One is removing the candle that was stuffed inside the cake and the other was pick up the deco on the cake. Both tasks only allow him to use his mouth to do it.

We also manage to go one round during the candle burning. Timing was just nice.

The night ended fast. Everyone went back at 10+ and now, I'm preparing to go watch Money Not Enough 2 with Terence, HongYe, ShiXiong & Bro later.

It's Meifang's 24th birthday celebration.
Suppose to celebrate her birthday and Wee Xiong's 25th Birthday together yesterday but too bad the birthday boy will be away on a company trip. Thus for his, willbe postpone till next Friday.

Celebrations for Meifang is held at Chevrons' KTV. She loves to sing so that's the perfect place.

The night was started off with dinner at Jurong Entertainment Centre's Long John Silver. After dinner, we proceed to Chevrons in Terence's Hiace.

The true happenings came in after being in the KTV room for 30mins. Coz by the time, we had warmed up slightly for more fun. Hehe!

When we got into the 75% mark of the night, we start with the traditional cake cutting n present presentation.

At the scene, we have 2 'siblings alike' group.
Meifang & I. We carry bags which is the same color as our attire.

Then follow by the color outfit. Hehe! Bro Terence & I.

Very coincidental.
2 is always just nice. Haha! Just nice for our 5 chain shots.

I just love to take photos. Especially yesterday. I don't know how come I was so high!
I make the guys go for theirs too.

6 pax is too much of a crowd. So all they can do it to sabotage one another.
Then I came up with more ideas. Let the guys be the 'Big Bosses' of the night. Hehe!

Next round, we girls will definately be the Princesses. Haha! Mark my words! Keke!
Well, good things will always come to an end. The night has to be ended at 11pm coz it's still in the 7th month. I don't want to go back too late so does the rest.

But do lookout for more photos next week when it's Wee Xiong's turn. :-P

After so many months, I finally give some hair some life again.
I went to my favourite hairdresser, Karmen @ Summer Salon. My Sweetie was very nice. She accompany me there and waited for me also. :-D I really don't know how to thank her.

I had always like to cam whore after my haircuts. I don't know why. Hehe! Sorry for being narcissistic. Hehe! Just tolerate with me for awhile and everything will b over soon. :-p
