Met Fanny @ Tiong Bahru Plaza today to pass her something.

And the meeting make me realise one thing. There is nothing much for me to see and look in there. I still prefer my West Mall.

At least I know where to kill my time while waiting but in TBP, I do not know. Haiz...

Even after meeting Fanny and had our dinner at KFC, we finish the building in 30-45min. But at least we manage to grab a spaggetti which is on sales at Double Index. If not, we would leave empty handed.

Haha! Guess how we get to Clementi from Tiong Bahru? We did not take MRT from there. Instead, I was so crazy that I on her to walk to the nearest 147 bus stop at Bukit Merah side. Haha! There was a slight drizzle somemore. And I love it as I have not play in the waters for long. ;-P

Reach Clementi around 8.45pm. Most of the shops are closed. It was drizzling also. Thus nothing much we can do. So we went back to my house where Fanny pick up her heels and went home.

Well, tonight is a cooling night when I can sleep peacefully and sweetly.

I have exactly forgetten when I last meet YanLing & Friends. Guess Kenny & SK's birthday celebration was the last time.
Woohoo! It has been approximately 5 mths Didn't realise that time flies.

This round it's much of a guy gathering then ladies coz out of 10, there are only 3 ladies. Pathetic right? But at least I have YanLing to accompany me coz Serling is late. :-)

Dinner started only after 8pm. Luckily we ordered some snacks to fill our stomachs first. The snacks there are reasonable for it's taste n price but as we proceed onto our main dishes, the grilled 'char siew' chicken with rice & egg is the most disappointing. It look so different from the photo. In photo, the 'char siew' looks abit like those use in japanese ramen but this... haiz, sad to say.

But my spaggetti with pork chop, ham & egg and Dar's Chicken chop is yummy. Erm... but not for bulk comsumption as it is salty.

So my overall conclusion is I will patronise my Hong Kong Cafe in Novena & East Coast more then this. Not going back soon unless they have something better or I crave for their Crab Bee Hoon and Toast.(Link back to my post on 20th August 06)

But I love their ice green tea with honey. It taste perfect. I have been reminiscing on this taste for long. The current Kbox & Party World did not taste as nice coz they sting on the honey I believe. I'm so glad that I finally find back the taste.

And personally, I love this photo alot. It was taken by my Darling out of fun. But I love it. Hope to have more of this in future. I love pretty candid shots. Hehe!

Why is it called Sun with Moon & not Moon with Sun? I wonder why. But it doesn't matter as the food is nice and reasonable price.

And we also had a great time celebrating Mary's birthday there. Hehe!

The serving was reasonable too. Unlike some restaurant that serve tiny bit of food to make their diners order more.

Each of us ordered a main dish and in addition, we ordered a salad & dessert.

Sharon's Wafu Ramen & Black Pepper Chicken Salad. The salad is very yummy.

Mary & I order a Rice in metal pot each.(I'm sorry that I'm not sure the exact name for it.)

The fish roe is very tasty. Goes along very well with the salmon. I like it. Mary's teriyaki chicken also nice. Will give it a try next round.

As we did not get any birthday cake for Mary, so we came up with a very creative idea.

We got her a 4 in 1 dessert set as the cake. And her present of the year is a iPod FM receiver from Sharon, Zane & I.

The photo of the day. Zane was available as she is working overtime again. Hope to see her soon in the next outing. Miss her lots.

Haha! I smoke the auntie selling the bubble tea the other day when I order the red green combination.
My order was super long. It goes "Strawberry red tea with mini pearls & colorful nata coco & Green apple green tea with colorful nata coco only". After listening to the above, she was stunned and when trying to repeat my orders, she failed. Hehe! Actually before I order it, I also confuse myself slightly. But basically, it's red with red and green with green. That's the safest order when you are unsure of what flavour will be nice. I learnt this from my bro after we purchase an awfully taste bubble tea from my neighbourhood in early June.

After the red green combi, I manage another yellow green combi 2 days later. It was nice too. Hehe! I got Passion Fruit Green Tea with Mini pearls & Green Apple Green Tea with Mini Pearls.

Well, I don't know why my bro love Green Apple Green Tea so much... Green isn't a very lucky color for guys isn't it?

I'm leading a blissful life. wOohOo!
Shortly after my post on the Chinatown-Marina Square Walk, Darling mention that we can go and try the Claypot Crab Bee Hoon this sunday. I'm so happy that he showered me with so much love.

And so we went down People Park Centre to get his specs sorted out and head to Don's Pie Club for our late lunch.
It was slightly crowded today as compared to last week. And almost every table there was having the claypot crab. (*there are around 5 tables seated with customers)
To me, this is consider quite a number as it was located in China Square with office building surrounding it.

Review on the Claypot Crab:-
Well, I feel that the soup is tasty but seem to be lacking of something. I still miss the Crab BeeHoon at AMK Mellben. Maybe it is cause by the amount of milk added.
But I love the yam here. They pan-fried the yam blocks before adding it into the soup and cook. This is to prevent the yam from dissolving into the soup and ensure customer gets to taste the yam & crab sweetness merge together.
The crab is cooked till the shell is slightly soft and I can eat it without anything tools that was provided and bite the shell with my ultra fragile teeth. Fantastic right? But sad point, the soup turn cold quite fast as the weather is too hot and the air con there was at full blast. Thus my advice is drink more of the soup first before attacking the crab. The crab won't run away!!!

Hehe! So anyone who happens to be free and in that area can just pop over and try it. Each claypot cost S$14.80. The serving is enough for 2 pax with a quarter chicken pie. And that's what we did.

We made it! The chalet was a successful one. It's a long awaited one too. I never expected it to be so successful. All thanks to the committee. If they are not around, there might not b this chalet existing.

I'm sorry for the lack of photos for this chalet as my camera is not working very well due to the battery. And also there's no one who remember to be the camera man. Thus there's only one photo posted which is the group. But not all the attendees was in. We left out OCM, Wen Yin, Hui Shan, Fanny and my Darling.

We all now look forward to have the next chalet. Tentative date is in December. But it seem rather tough as it's super peak season.

Li Jun's birthday was celebrated in advance as all of us are around and we can stay up late coz we will be camping in our long awaited chalet. Hehe!

We had much fun doing this celebration for her. As being one of the main person-in-charge, I have to see things through smoothly. And bcoz of this, I got stress by Guo Zhong at the last minute. Thus he got back on me on wat we have did to him previously. Haha! He was very happy when he got me so tensed up.

We did a whole set of photo shot of the birthday girl getting into the KTV room with surprise, happiness, making wishes, candle blowing and cake cutting.

She even got sabotage by us. This is in a form of re-payment to us as we are being so nice to her. Well, as we look forward to the cake eating, so we did not smash her head into it.

We are all so excited in photo taking with her. So she got to pose for everyone who attended. I believe she must be smiling very tired and got flash-bang already. The room was dark and the flash was very bright. And Hong Ye is the one with action in the photo. This make his photo the most unique one. Others look abt the same. :-p

Well, the happy night is short. We ended it with a group photo and turn back to the chalet for rest.

Tomorrow we have a long day to go on. BBQ will be at tmr's night.

oH my gOsh! I almost forgotten to jot down this very important day - 10th June 07.

Finally Darling n I got something we fancy and looking for long. It's our couple watch.

We have been looking for something decent since end of last year. But I'm glad that I manage to get it this month. Now we can wear it together for special occassion and dinners.

Not only that, we did something we never done before that day. We walk from Chinatown MRT to Marina Square. It was freaking far to think of it. But I enjoy the journey. It was fun. In between the journey, we stop over at Don's Pie Club for a break and my lunch. Just realise that they serve Sri Lanka Crab Bee Hoon soup too. Seem rather yummy. Shall try it next round.

On the way, I also saw the floating platform. How I wish that I can be on it. Hopefully, I still stand a chance to own 2 NDP tickets. Just 2 pieces will do. Actual or preview doesn't matter. Hehe!

Warm Welcome by me & Grace Hew!
Finally we reach Changi Beach at around 10.00am. Sitting Boon Thien's car was a great leisure. As he has the portable DVD player in it and it's a 7-seater MPV. It's spacious!!!

Take a look at the number of attendees. Although quite a number did not come, but we still got so many pple together enjoying. (*Photo taken while we doing some warm up.)

After warm up, we were separated into groups for the games. There is a total of 6 stations, we have to complete them within an hour. After that, there will be a soccer match which will be finalising the winner of the day. Thus those came in as the 2nd grp get a chance to get to the top. Hehe!
As for our team, we came in as 3rd. Thus we have to try to maintain our position.
And our soccer team consists of... ...

Well, we are an all girls team except with 2 hunks! Hehe! So we are on the losing end right? But we never give in and show our 'Girls Power' that we are stronger and powerful. And we managed to maintain the position. Horray!!!

After all the tedious 'workout' of running here n there, we finally get to taste the 'best' nasi lemak in Singapore. I wonder how true it was coz it's buffet style. Haha! By then we are too hungry to enjoy the food. We just devour it the way we feel comfortable :-p oOps I make it sounded so ugly! In fact, we are not.

After the hearty lunch, one round of lucky draw was done. Then followed by the games.
Games started off with the kids. They are all so cute and sweet. Youngest was 2 yrs old and oldest was 9 yrs old. All the kids were having fun up and stage and we adults down below were laughing away. And this is what we call childhood. They are so innocent. How I wish I can rewind the clock and enjoy mine again. :-)

Next item is for the 3 strongest MHE guys. They have to perform martial arts. Haha! The 3 handsome make a good laugh of themselves.

After this, it is the start of my nightmare. 2 Grace & I was summon up on stage. It was so scary. No question answering just to perform instead. Haiz. I'm speechless for the whole segment. Luckily there are photos to show... I shall skip the narration here.

Finally it came to the end of the day where the big lucky draw had to be drawn. I can't remember exactly who got which prize but at least there's a prize winner photo for review. Our group got Grace Hew & Li May whom got themselves one airpot & one portable DVD player(1st prize).

I love these 2 kids to bits. They are so cute. The elder son is Yuqi & younger son is Yucheng.

Hehe! I manage to capture a photo with Yucheng. These are the photos that I fancy the most for that day.

Chalet was a success! But I was tired & drain after the 3 days. Practically, I'm the only girl there. Haiz... no more princess. I'm the maid, the mum... ... Have to nag the guys to get things done like clearing the table, cleaning the place etc.

Well, wat to do, guys are guys. They will always try to leave things till the last minute.

Although I'm tired, I still get to enjoy at some moments. Especially when Darling came over and BBQ food for me. Hehe! I feel so pampered. And when Fanny make her way over even though she doesn't really know my friend. She is really nice. Very optimistic and out-going girl.

But there is something that I still broad over which is my chipped tooth. It's giving me a very huge financial burden. My last appointment on Saturday cost me the biggest bomb of the year. I pay another $450 on top of the amount I paid on Monday. Now the whole session cost me $650 already and there is another $300 or more to go... So shitty for me to land up in this mess. Hopefully this month I will be able to get something nice from my company 'in compensation' for this loss.

Erm, but this seems like not the correct way to make up for my loss. Coz if I start to look back, I dun enjoy having the 'compensation'. Everytime when there's payout, there is surely something big bound to happen. So hopefully this will be the last and for the next payout in Dec, I can enjoy having the money and save it up for my wishes & future. Let's pray hard for me k?

I will be going chalet this weekend. Hehe! ;-) It will start from tonight till Sunday afternoon.

Will I enjoy myself there or I will be like a 'Maria' there. I wonder... Let's play hard that I get to play k? I wanna go dip in the pool.

A little re-cap of last night meeting with my sweetie Joyce and Jiali.
We went Far East Plaza for eye-brow trimming then down to Wisma Atria and lastly Takashimaya.

We pop in GG>5 and Joyce was looking for her top but there is no more black. So sad. Went over to Mango, and there's nothing that we fancy. So the night just ended there.

As usual, the taxi stand was crowded with lots of passengers in queue. So I just took the phone n dial the usual number. And in conclusion, I got 2 types of service standard frm one company.

When I dial the standard '1s', I got rude service. Basically I needed 2 cabs. In my past experience, I do not need to reveal the destination. But the lady who pick up my call simply insist that it is needed as some of the drivers might b changing their shifts soon. So I got not much choices so I told her. After a while, she came back without any cabs available for me. As I'm getting pissed off with her attitude earlier, I told her dun need to retry. I will just use other company.

But as I call the number '2s', destination is being asked but as I mentioned that I need 2 cabs, she just replied that she leave the destination slot open for me to tell the driver. Thus from this 2 calls, I conclude that it's the attitude of the customer service officer and not other thing. So now, the '1s' have been frozen from my list. I will not call till I got over this matter.
But due to the overwhelming demand, I only have a cab on booking. And that, I gave it to Jiali. So sweetie & I call for the 3rd time where sweetie did the booking.

Okie enough of my nagging and complaining, I saw Pierre Png at Takashimaya. He was so sloppily dressed. With sandals, bermudas and t-shirt. Munching an apple and a plastic bag in hand. I think he can just step into any shops in Takashimaya with his face coz he is a celebrity. Everyone will just give him face. He every tan and of average man's height. I also saw a tattoo on his right ankle. Didn't expect to c that coz his role was always the Mr. Right kind or those 'Good good' role. Hehe!

Well well, to say, my day end off nicely. Now waiting for tonight to come. I got to collect Li Jun's cake and wait for GZ to fetch me down to Chevrons' KTV n leave the cake there before heading to IMM for dinner and groceries shopping with the rest. ;-)

Look forward for my photo post next week. Hopefully I won't be too tired till I procrastinate on the photo-blogging. Keke!

I just look back into my schedule for this week and realise that almost all the evenings are packed with appointment.

It's really tough and tedious. To think on Monday that I was so sad till I don't really wish to do anything. But now it's Thursday already and I'm meeting my sweetie Joyce later for eye-brow trimming.

Now looking back into the week,
Monday - Stay home and groan over my chipped tooth
Tuesday - Boxercise and meet with the army boys to discuss on the chalet catering.
Wednesday - Meetup with ex-colleague, Lilian
Thursday - Meet Joyce for eyebrow trimming
Friday to Sunday - Chalet
Sunday (afternoon) - Maybe meet Joyce

Fully packed isn't it??? Will I get tired out and fall sick eventually??? I hope not. Coz my boss will kill me if I do. I'm already on medical leave on Monday... oOps.

oHh dear me, I just engaged in another session of dental service again... It's Root Canal Treatment once more. Now it's for my front tooth.

RCT for this round will cost me $300 and the crown will cost another $350.
So shitty... It's all because my tooth chipped off with it's filling yesterday with just a gentle accidental knock. haIz... dun wish to elaborate it anymore.

I'm so depressed yesterday till now. I can't figure out how did it happen. So sad and demoralise that I took 1 day urgent leave to get going with the dentist.

Further to it, my 2 familiar dentists are not on duty so I have to see someone new. But at least this one give me some assurance that I feel safe. If not, I'm going to kill myself.

Although it's bad luck throughout, but I still get a blessing in disguise that I dun need to remove the tooth and get implant. phEw! gLad that RCT can do it. or else, implant cost thousands!

And sad to say is that, my dream to my guCci wallet is drifted further away again. It's hard to save money but it's even harder to prevent accident from happening.

Have anyone tried the following dishes from Pasta Mania? They are the current promotion.

I just tried them with my brother hours ago.
On the right is Spicy Portobello Pasta and left is Broccoli with Cheese Baked Rice.

Both taste nice nice. Especially when some Tabasco sauce is added on the baked rice. But the broccoli is so 'nutrient-less'. Well, mainly the baked rice is prepared in advance and heated up when being ordered. So it's dried and thin. (P/s: just look at the photo. Those black patches are the broccoli.)
Thus I prefer the Spicy Portobello more. Portobello mushrooms are so juicy and yummy!

jUst back from Changi Beach. I'm all exhausted from the heat and games...

We are all playing all the games so aimlessly. There's seems to be no objectives at all. Haiz... I dun wan to mention it again. It's all just kiddy play. No challenges.
The organisation is not good also. There seem to be no concrete plans. The game marshals are just trying to let us complete the game smoothly.

There's one lady which was worst. She dressed herself with make-up and stand there do nothing. Eventually the MC told her that she has to help out in preventing the soccer ball rolling off.

Actually I dun really fancy all the games. I would rather stay in the west area and play some other games.

Now missing my beauty sleep, I still have to suffer under the sun with the risk of dehydration or heatstroke. It's really sianz.

And as for people like me who don't even stand a chance in the lucky draw prizes, there's no reason I must go.
Well, that is not the worst yet.
The worst is that I was called up on stage to do some kind of ribbon dance where I entertain the rest and I got a little notebook which only cost $0.10 each in appreciation and a pack of chocolate for being the winner. My brother told me that seem so insulting. Haiz... I also dun know. Just feel I'm being a clown.

Well, I know that I should look to the fun which we enjoy and not the prizes or gifts. But it seem so demoralising.

Haiz... I really got to throw away the negative points of the event and look at the photos that was taken. :-)

P/S: By the way, the MC was a cute guy. Jovial & good looking. I was sort of smitten by him... and he drove a white Subaru!!!

It was more then 10 years ago since I last play badminton. Well, I am not a sporty person. So sports is a very unfamiliar word to me.

Played badminton at Jurong West Sports Complex last night. It's was fun!!! I sweat within 15mins. It was nice feeling coz sitting too much in air-condition area is not good. Human needs to open their sweat glands to detox themselves.

I played so hard yesterday till I had to suffer today. We book a 2 hr session. I was playing for 1hr 15min. Playing process always been great and the suffering process also. Now I cannot imagine whether I can walk, jump and cycle tmr at sis co.'s Family Day.

My whole back is aching now. Especially the right area. I'm a right handed.

But as I watch my colleagues play, they are so professional. Every hit and smack, I can hear it. The force was great. But for me, it was totally rotten. At some shots, I can't even hit the shuttle cock at the tip. And when serving, I can hit and it land in the wrong court. reaLLy 3 bIg 'bOo' for myself. Becoz of this, it motivates me to play more. But there's no kaki & no racket... haha! I can play in my dreams only.

I finally get to taste this after it has been in the market for so long. I grabbed it after my badminton workout as I do not wan too much starchy stuff in the body.

It tastes nice but when eating, one has to be extra careful on the leaking of the sauce coz I got my clothes stained just now.

recent thInk back has make me reaLise that I wasn't the same as befOre... I start to know it becoz of some unhappiness at work.

The laughter that I use to have wasn't there. every happiness on me seem so fake. I'm down with a virus. A virus which has travel all the way down to my inner self. Deep to a point that the my happiness can't diminish them. The happiness I had always went till a certain point and after that, the sadness, loneliness and helplessness set in once again.

I don't know where and when I have contracted or developed this virus. It's really bad.
bUt definitely it's not my loved ones who pass it me.

nOw I hoping to find a cure soon. I still have some unclear leave balance to be taken before 2007 ends... But till the end of the year, there are still 6 months to go. So I don't know how should I plan my leave... haIz... nOw headache going to set in???

How long did I not mention that I went lunch/dinner with my family? oOps I can't remember.

Life has been too hectic for everyone of us.
Dad has quitted his job and currently looking for one. Mum has to work overtime almost everyday (including Sat & Sun). Bro is busy with exams recently and me... ... I do not know where all my time goes. The usual routine of going out with Joyce has decreased significantly. And Darling has just finished his exam and back to work.

Haiz, no wonder last time I keep hearing pple complaining 24hrs a day is not enough. Haha!

Well, back to the topic, I just went for lunch this afternoon with my family @ a restaurant in Boon Lay area. I have decided not to mention it's name coz it's unfair to them as this is based on my personal opinion.

Actually this is a lunch event organise by one of the Chinese newspaper but not those that I attended previously. This is another company.

This round, the food wasn't up to my expectations. Taste wise, it's so-so for me. Maybe I was treated too well previously so expect something better than what was given. The event was also not suitable for me. They got those CC karaoke group to perform and there are lucky draw only 10 prizes for 700 diners.

The event host wasn't well-trained too. When he read out the lucky draw winner, he mention the 8-digit handphone number too. This is so personal. What if the winner received weird calls in the middle of the night? Then the first person at fault will b the host? I don't understand why he can't read out the lucky draw number first. It's funny isn't he? Haiz... all these cons has deducted all the points that I wish to give in the first place. One more point to add on, it was said to be a food appreciation session but there seem no main dish of the day. So I do not know what I am appreciating. All seem to be 'side' dish.

Luckily I only pay $15/pax for 8 courses unlike the previous $38 and $48. If the higher amount was paid, I will definitely regret. So eventually, it's just how much you pay, and how much shld be expected.

I love my current hair length. But at the same time, I miss my former length and fringe.
Haha. Contradicting right? Well, I'm alway like that.

But never mind, I can still keep my hair as long as I want right? As long as the split ends are gone. Hehe! Then my hair will definitely look much better then. :-D

p/s: aLthough cut my fringe, but it's not the 'China Doll' fringe which I use to have. I will keep u pple in suspense for sometime first. Thus no photos for the moment. ;p

This girl never gives us a chance to celebrate her birthday last year... So this year, she can't escape from Joyce as they are colleagues...
Haha! Finally we got someone to escort her over. But the celebration wasn't on the actual day coz it's a public holiday - Vesak Day! WooHoo!

See the mini heart-shaped cake I got for her. Buffet is a killer so no more big big cake.
When a wish is made, it also means you are a year older...
In her hands is the limit edition Dior 2 we got for her. After she open it on the spot, the whole room was infused with the perfume! Hehe! Coz she loves it alot and offer to spray it on us also. Keke!

Well, there's nothing much to take in the tiny little Kbox room so we make the way downstairs.
There are so many movie posters. And it seems like we love the Spiderman the most. Haha! But we did not forget childhood too... And the currently on going cartoon - Shrek 3 is in the list too.

By the way, did anyone saw that we are so frightened and needs Spiderman's rescue???
