Decision has to be done on Sunday night as Peili's friend is going to Paris. So I can grab the chance to ask her help me get a wallet.
But I'm in dilenma now! So many nice designs but which to choose?

2 little Rat went to watch Ratatouille together... ... and who are the 2 Rat???

Haha! It's Baobei & I. We were born in the year of Rat.

I love this movie lots. It's very funny. The little Rat is very intelligent. Remy was his name. He has a very good sense of smell which lead him to an adventurous life in Paris.

The most inspiring phrase is "Anyone can cook" - said by Auguste Gusteau. Remy went on to persue his dreams based on this. Irregardless of the objections from his dad. And due to dreams, Remy and his family and friends were separated. But he did a good deed. He help Linguini in cooking and inherited his father - Auguste Gusteau's business (well-known restaurant with international 5 stars rating). But as human take rats as pest, thus after the news leaked out that had thousands of rats there, it was sealed.

But this did not totally kick Remy & Linguini out of the F & B industry. As for what happened, get a ticket and watch it in the movie for a great laugh. :-D

After shopping and catching a movie with Baobei, I proceeded over to Darling's house for dinner and catch Campus Superstar 2 Final.

I supported Shawn but Darling always choose the other. He oppose me all the way. Hmpf! but nevermind. Shawn make it to the end. Hooray!

Overall, actually I felt that the performance that night for the 4 contestants wasn't that great. They did not do as good as the normal shows. Guess they are too stressed and with 4 songs to do. Lots of memory to be done.

The night had past quickly. In preparation of the AHM, Darling had to have ample rest. And also in view of the ongoing 7th month, it was considered late for me leaving Darling's house at 11pm.

Took a cab back.
The journey was a fast one. I passed by Andrew Road and just saw the supporters going back. Haha! It seem like I'm there supporting too.

Coincidentally, it was our 20th month together.

How long did I not step into Sushi Tei with a friend?
Answer: It's been years.
Haha! The last 2 time was with my boss. It happen in this year.

Well, going with a friend and boss is different. But I love both times. Coz I get to taste different food. Hehe!

I love the food at Sushi Tei. If I have a chance, I would like to go every month. Hehe! But by then, my Sakae Princess would be gone... Btw, have I clock in at Sakae for this month?

I love Sushi Tei more becoz the food taste better and in terms of presentation, it won Sakae. But 1 Sakae won by it's pricing. It's very reasonable. Sushi Tei caters for higher purchasing power consumers. Thus, they only give promotions to customers who has their credit card.

Look at this photo makes me drool again. The avocado tiger prawn & unagi sushi roll, the spicy clam kaminabe & cha soba with chicken cutlet. The cha soba is yummy! Thanks to my baobei for the introduction. If not, I would have miss another good food.

See how nice the color of the soup is... *drools again* & the tiger prawn is real BIG!!! The head is the same size as the cup. OMG!

Snapshots b4 we start the meal. Haha! I know my hair is messy but no choice, once I'm hungry, there my image goes... Hehe!

We had a very enjoyable lunch. Went over to Levi's Signature for a look and Baobei got herself a T-shirt. Nice & cheap. But bad for me... nothing caught my sight!

But I manage to spot a number of pieces @ MacDonalds House's This Fashion. Hehe! I'm so happy. I bought a total of 6 pieces with 30% discount. Well value for money! All thanks to Baobei for her membership card.

I have been leading a life which has been too engross in food. It's bad bad bad! I have to get this gluttony thots out of my mind. I can't be at one end complaining that I'm fat fat fat and at the other end eat eat eat. It will not help no matter how much exercise if this happen for long term. Haiz...

But... I enjoy the company of the babes. They are so sweet! Just that I get slightly upset when Joyce & Jiali were late due to their bosses. I cannot understand why those typical Singaporean bosses love to ask their subordinates to do things at the very last minute. They don't understand that their employees do have their own personal time like they do??? Haiz... slogging so hard for the company will there be repayment? Well, I guess even when u slog till you die, the pple there will just remember you for a while but after that, you no longer exist. But this always contradict with the responsibilities. Hard to differentiate between the two. Haiz... I'm so glad that my bosses aren't like that.

Our dinner was at Vienna International Seafood & Teppanyaki Buffet Restaurant. It was super-duper crowded. Reservation has to be done in advance.
The variety of food there was great! Yummy stuff in small portion where you can get to taste all different varieties. They also offered lots of soups too. If I didn't remembered wrongly, there are about 5 types. Hehe! But I didn't manage to taste all.

There are lots of catching up during the dinner. Everything ended so perfectly for us. We stay till they close. Haha! Thus this result in no photos taken in the restaurant. It's sad to say as the decorations are very beautiful. I love the chandelier lights. It's grand. But we manage to have photos taken @ the train station. Haha!

And here, you get to see how fat I'm. Haiz. I know Darling will be telling me that it's time for me to get moving the next minute after he saw this.

Well, I need companion to go exercising with me.

As recommended by my German engineer and Peili's friend, we decided to give it a try since we are going to Vivo City. Hehe! We got too tired of the Dian Xiao Er there already. Time for a change!

Well, it's a very nice restaurant with good ambience other then the noisy crowd. Great for dinner & chill out. Their highly recommended dish is their pork knuckle. Thus we give it a try.

Hehe! It's big serving indeed. And you will get sick of it by having it alone due to the fats and the tough skin. Both of us got so tired cutting it. Haha! But it's enjoyable.

We also got the sausage. It's nice. Sorry that I can't remember the name of it. It's also recommended by the staff. Good choice for me. Coz I love sausages... Hehe! *wInks wInks* It is also served with mashed potatos which is very soft & yummy!

The next thing got not to be missed. It's the German Beer.

I love the beer. There's special flavours. Hehe! With mango or banana. It's up to your choice. The brighter yellow is mango. Nice smell and mild taste. Darker yellow is banana. I can't really get the banana taste out.

Next will be the dessert. Peili's friend mention that the chocolate cream is nice. so we ordered it. It's yummy but sinful. Very chocolatey. Hehe! I love the black forest cake too. But having 2 desserts is way too much for both of us. We had to leave half behind. sObz!

I know that I'm late to figure out the presence of this restaurant. But it's not totally my fault. Coz it's basically located at 3 places. And the nearest to me was the Clementi one. But, it's far away from the MRT station thus I did not catch whole of it.

Well, I feel the food there was reasonably priced for dine-in. With just $3.20, you can have a katsudon with free flow of green tea served. But for takeaway, they will charge $0.50 additional for every set for the plastic container. What's more, for take away, they packed the miso soup for you too.

Hehe! Just this month, I have already purchase twice from them for dinner. Well, basically there are no more Jap food I know in Clementi and their pricing was reasonable enough.

P/S: The above is teriyaki chicken set. Price: $4.90 + $0.50 takeaway + 7% GST.

I hearted this drink more now. Hehe! I used to be loving Yakult but now, I have swopped over to Vitagen. Hehe! Sorry for not be a loyal customer but I'm more concern on my complexion & health then other things. :-P

I had tried all the flavours available for Vitagen Collegen. All flavour taste well but I have my favourite list. It's the ORIGINAL flavour. Then followed by Rose & Lavender. Hehe! Hopefully they will come out with all original like the normal Vitagen. Then I'll dive in n get it. Hehe! But the current combi is still alright for me. Coz it consist of 2 original, 2 rose & 1 lavender.

Well ladies out there, it's worth to give it a try. Time to stop all soft drinks and indulge in this. It do us more benefit. Selling @ $3.60/5 bottle pack in major supermarkets. (P/S: Try searching in some small outlets but can't find.)

Haha! Shortly after Thursday's sinful meal, I'm back to something sinful again.
I have always heard the raves on Botak Jones in Toa Payoh North. So being curious, I wish to get there asap to have a taste of it.

And finally I got the chance to go with my Darling yesterday. It was the 2nd most convenient branch of Botak Jones so far. The most convenient one is at Clementi. About 5mins walk from Clementi. As for Toa Payoh North outlet, it's located near Braddell MRT station. 10mins away only. Just beside SPH News Centre. At the industrial canteen. It's very easy to identify at night coz of the brightly lit signature signboard of Botak Jones.

Upon reaching, I was once again taken aback by the crowd. I thot it will not be as crowded as the Ang Mo Kio branch but I was wrong. The whole canteen was filled with their customers. They are the only stall open other then the drink stall. Business prospers but good service still maintain. They informed waiting time was 1hr 15mins which we agreed to wait and then order was taken. And while waiting, they actually offered the 2 of each a plate of nachos. It was a surprise to me. I have never been treated that way in my past 2 visits to AMK branch. It's really nice of them. Not only that, the orders was served promptly. On time was the most important. Lucky for us, I was clever enough to get a Caesar Salad with Fish so that it was served half way thru our waiting time thus we did not get too hungry.

Food wise, everything was nice. I love the BBQ wings. It's totally unlike those normal BBQ wings outside. It's tender and juicy with BBQ sauce. I will order it the next round when I'm there again.

And there's one more surprise. A chill-out corner was actually set there. It's the Brewski Jones where they serve mainly margaritas & tequila. Wish to try but it has to be the next round. Hehe! Coz more pple will have more fun. Thus I'm waiting for all my gfs out there to get over to Toa Payoh North for dinner & drinks with me. :-p

Yes! I'm a very pampered Princess!
Firstly, I got the chance to NDP at Marina Bay in the yellow sector and now, I'm seated in the Red Sector to watch the fireworks presented by the Spain Team.

I know I look ugly in the photo coz I'm fat. But I'm fortunate to enjoy the fireworks comfortably.

For those who are entitled to watch the fireworks @ the Marina Bay floating platform, are also entitled to enjoy the carnival & funfair at the yellow/green sector. I was so excited when I saw that. The atmosphere was so happy. And Darling & I knew it earlier, we would have skipped our Carl's Jr dinner and munch on the funfair's food. Well, it's always hard to find such event in Singapore nowadays as the pasar malam trend has died down.

Watching the fireworks with 27,000 pple was exciting. Especially for this year 2007. There are more segments being integrated in. I pity the little handful of people who wasted their ticket due to the wet weather earlier. It's really a pity coz sitting at the platform, you will get to see the LED kites flying in the sky by the Go Fly Kite people. It's really fantastic! Then follow by that, you also get to enjoy the music and lighting which has been especially design for the fireworks. Everything have been so perfect!

I know I'm bad to be here blogging on how well is the nice the fireworks it. I'm sorry. I just wanna share my happiness with everyone. :-)

Yeah! I'm a food lover. Hehe!
Thus traveling wasn't too big a problem to me as long as I will enjoy the food with the right accompany.

Well, supposingly was to make my way home that day after work. But who knows. Work has been too stressful for me that day thus I decided to relax myself with food. So I got Fanny along to travel all the way down Changi just to taste the fried chicken & biscuits - Popeye.

This is well famous in Hong Kong but I never get to taste it there. So only Fanny knows the different. :-)
Personally, I prefer Popeye then KFC as it's not so oily. The environment was also much better too. Hehe! KFC is always way too commercialise. Every of it's outlet give a greasy feeling too. I wonder how the management do their part.

Popeye's set has a bun included. It's a biscuit bun. Hard on the outside & soft on the inside. Very yummy when the fruit jam was spread on top. They also offered cajun fries. Fanny went so in love with it. But I have too much of the starch so I got to give some a miss. But I dun really like the mashed potato. The sauce contains too much spices thus it taste weird to me. One last thing, eating Popeye will not stain ur fingers like KFC. I simply dun know why I always the KFC chicken smell on my fingers after finishing it.

See the amount of food we had. It's a whole tray for 2 little ladies.
I'm going fatter after this. Spoiler to my diet plan... arghh!!!

It's always nice to have a companion who loves food like you. It definitely boosts up the appetite & metabolism I believe.

Some more in the long journey of 1h 30mins, you will never get bored traveling back when there's a companion...

P/S: My dearest little sis, Fanny is very considerate to get me herbal drink so that I won't get too heaty after eating all the sinful stuff. Really nice girl. :-)

The secret remains as a secret in Jay Chou's Movie - Secret.
I'm not going to be one spoiler here.

Ye Xiang Lun & Xiao Yu's romance was a bitter sweet one. Surrounded with piano and music.
People who watch it will understand what I say. People who have not catch it, can go n catch it soon but not very advisable on weekend slots ($9.50). My rating for the movie is 3.5/5 coz it's Jay's first movie and it's a very good try.

I just caught it was Sweetie yesterday. We went West Mall as it's near for us. Too lazy to go out far after late outing last night. Movie touch us by a mere bit. Check out Sweetie Joyce's comment at her blog.

We had lunch at Sakae Sushi. Just realise their new membership scheme is not out yet. Haiz... I wonder how long they will take. Last announcement was in late June. Mention on 1st July 07, it will b changed but after 1 mth, no new scheme being seen. Haiz... Was slightly disappointed as I always wan Joyce to have 1 discount card of her own so that when she dines with her mum she can enjoy the privileges. Haiz...

Met Darling at West Mall after the show. I don't know why I miss him so much nowadays. Feel weird. Getting too dependent again I guess. Haiz... I gotta change.

Slept through the morning of yesterday. Haha! In between, I woke up once to check the time and also saw 3 smses. 1 of the sms saddens me most. My kite got flew by others again... Haiz... Sleep well but mood dampen thinking of the late afternoon program.

But to my surprise, Sweetie sms me and ask me out. So I got her to join me & Meifang for shopping. Met Sweetie earlier to go walk walk and collect my top from Osmose. Shopping around with her is always fun as we got the same interests. Haha! While waiting for Meifang to confirm her timing, we also went to various bank's roadshow to submit for CC application. Hopefully it will go through. Fingers crossed.

Meifang was late for the meeting. She even scare me by not replying my smses. I got frightened coz she told me that she will go n donate blood b4 meeting me. And true enough, she really blackout at the BloodBank. Luckily her Mr. Nice bf was with her all the way. Luckily, after she took a rest she felt much ok. Coz me being the bad bad girl still drag her out as I need her Charles & Keith birthday promo. I know I'm really bad by not sending her back straight. But I didn't really know what actually happen to her before seeing her.

Friends who care for her, please rest assured that she is fine after the rest. Nothing serious actually. We all guess she didn't feel well coz there are too many donators at the Blood Bank and the staff did not realise the machine has been calling that she had fill up the packet of blood. So the blood flow was slightly distracted in the body.

After shopping at Plaza Singapura for a total of 7pairs of shoes and 1 belt, we went to Central to do exchange and head down to Bugis straight. (Note: I only got 2 pairs n a belt. 2 pairs for Sweetie, 2 pairs for Baobei and 1 pair for Sis.)

We had Swensen's @ Bugis. The food there is either tasteless or overcooked. Haiz... Not only there. Sakae Sushi's soup also. So my friends, please try to avoid the food at these places. Next round, I will try the newly opened Seafood Harvest @ Bugis. I love the blue oceany feeling.

The night ended late for me as I join the army boys for a chit-chat. It's the last late night out b4 the 7th month starts...

Gigantic Glass of Sugar Cane. It's real big. Not Kidding.
Hehe! Darling brought me to Chomp Chomp for dinner.
It's all sinful food but both of us love it to bits. My favourite was the beancurd with fish cake & bean sprouts. Haha! Both deep fried. oOps... Hehe! Anyway it's bought by my 'diet inspector' so no restrictions. Keke! Eat is the key word for the night.

Overall, the whole night was all on sinful food. We had chicken chop, fried kway teow, satays, oyster omelette and deep fried beancurds. To cheers with the food was a jug size sugar cane. Hehe! Nice nice! Everything was so prefect.

The biggest surprise for me is not the food that night. It's the sugar cane. The glass was huge. Almost the size of the jug that contains 4 drinks. I have not seen any of this anywhere outside. So I'm dumbfounded when it's placed in front of me. Hehe! I'm very mountain turtle, aren't I???

I still heard that there's lots of good food in Chomp Chomp. And for me to make a return to Chomp Chomp for good food, I got to work hard to make myself healthier before returning there. If not, no more sinful food for me. Haiz, can anyone help me???

1 bad point in Chomp Chomp. Can't really go there with a big crowd. It was be very tedious for you to get seats. And once there, you will be filled with food from inside to outside. (Inside: Fill with delicious, yummy food. Outside: Smell with smoke. Haha!)

Friends after friends mentioned how Singaporean they are not as they have not got to any of the NDP shows...

And I feel so sorry for them. Especially after I saw pple who were there and not enjoying the show being put up. Haiz! I just feel like telling them off that if they can't appreciate what has been put up for them, then please give the chance to others who wish to catch it LIVE.

There are so many pple down at Fullerton area and Padang just to get the feel. But... haiz... I dun wish to mention anymore. It's disappointing to see that 'father & son'.

Now let me talk abit abt this year's celebration.
It's a great one! Definately. Very innovative! The planners have cracked their heads alot. As compared to previous years, it's very different and special. There are more things to take into account for the show. So many things to be integrated. In the past, we always manage to c the land & air but now, we move on to water. I wonder where is the venue for next year. Will it be more exciting?

I know there are of pple saying that they don't understand the show and it's not very nice. Well, this is because the concept is practically too new for pple to accept. This year show also need abit more understanding to the event. Like you have to follow the news reports etc before you know what they perform. The show consists of the 5 elements - Fire, Sea, People, Earth & Sky.

Well, personally, Bro & I enjoy the whole show. The fireworks are the nicest. The whole Singapore skyline was so beautiful last night. I love it! But it would be better if the buildings can dim their lights more. So it was be even nicer. :-)

It's a new item on Din Tai Fung's list. Hehe! My favourite Xiao Long Bao but in the favour of Chilli Crab. It's yummy yummy when you have it piping hot. Hehe!

This item is offered only in the month of July & August in conjunction of Singapore Food Festival. The theme for this year is Chilli Crab thus this is invented.

I had it with Fanny yesterday. As both of us are 'bao' lovers, we ordered 1 set of Chilli Crab's (4pcs) & 1 set of Normal (6pcs). Haha! We are very big eaters. So we also got others dishes like Siew Mai with Prawn, Fried Rice w Egg & Shredded Pork, Sour & Spicy Soup & a appetizer.

Haha! The order is definately for 3-4 pax and we managed to gobble everything down. I wonder how to slim down this way. Argh... Haiz just 3 days ago I tot of slimming and now... sAdz... soBz...

A movie for all...
Finally there's a movie for my parents. I know they will love it. My bro too. I have urge him to watch it with my parents so he will learn more on our Chinese Culture. Nice movie even though the effects are a bit lame. Touching as it brings out the other side of the Getai singers. I laughed & teared during the show. It's a meaningful show. For pple who dun know or dun appreciate the 7th month Getai, I think after you watch the show, you will change your attitude.

The songs in the movie is very meaningful. Especially the 'Yi Ren Yi Ban'. Just by listening to it, you will get touched. I'm going to get the OST. No lies! I know many out there will think this movie is not worth coz it's very hokkien-style and only suitable for aunties & uncles. It's wrong thinking! Now is the time for us to appreciate before Getai start to disappear. Some more this movie are acted by some of the Getai veterans.

Ok. Enough for the movie. I got the chance to attend the Gala Premiere with complimentary from Kenny. Hehe! It's an eye-opener for me. I got to see so many Mediacorp artisties. They all look fabulous. And our very local movie director - Jack Neo was there too. Hehe! But I did not say hi to anyone of them as I doubt they know me. Somemore I'm a shy shy girl. Keke!

In conjunction, it's my first time watching movie in Vivo City's GV. Unbelieveable right? Haha! It's because we are very thrifty. Everytime look for movie discounts. Hehe!

Note: I gave this movie a 4 out of 5. The missing out is letting it to have its room for improvement.

To my surprise, Kampong Dayz @ Causeway Point has become Dian Xiao Er...

Celebrate in advance for Mei Fang's b'day @ Dian Xiao Er yesterday. We ordered 5 dishes for 9 pax. All in medium size - Kong Poh Chicken, Sambal Kang Kong, Fried Homemade Tofu, Omelette w Prawn & Herbal Duck. Everyone was feeling so full after the meal. Personally from the 5 dishes, I love the sambal kangkong & herbal duck the most. The rest are not bad too.

From the amount that we ordered, I felt it's quite little. Coz the other day when I went with my boss to dine @ Vivo's, it already cost us the same as the above dishes. The varieties some abt the same but it's only 5 pax dining. And on normal days, when I went with sis or Joyce, it will cost 2 of us around $40-50. Surprise isn't it?

Don't ask me y. I dun know. Haha!

After dinner, we went walk walk around and Mei Fang got quite a number of items. As for me, I'm still not in the momentum to shop. Keke! At least this allows some savings. Hopefully the feeling can last. So I can shop more for my vacation trips. I'm looking for a getaway trip!!! Especially with my Darling & Sweetie & Little Sister. Haha! Hopefully I'll get 1 soon.

C how fat I look in this pic??? Arghhh!!! I gotta slim down... No more yummy food for me. I dread looking at my fatty body & face.

Oh yeah! If anyone wonders who is the guy beside, it's Meifang's bf. Hehe! And the cake I meddle with is her birthday cake. Four Leaves cakes are always tasty! But slightly ex. Heehee!

Thanks to my Darling! Hehe! Finally we make our way to Sentosa. wOohOo!
I love this Saturday the most. It's the nicest of all. Very sweet feeling. We played volleyball and frisbee on beach. It's my first time trying all these games. Too bad I forget my swim suit. If not I can also jump into the pool and swim with him. sObz soBz...

Well, how come out of a sudden I will go Sentosa??? It's becoz Wayne got a chalet there. We are invited for the BBQ. Saying abt BBQ, Eric was a very good chef. The food was all very yummy and well-cooked. No raw food. The sweet potato & potato are tasty just that sour cream & bacon bits were missing. Or else, it's heavenly. Yumz! Stringray was even better. The chilli was very well spread. Hehe! We had such a great feast there. The hosts are great too! Everything well prepared!

I even see my dear Nicole there. She very poor thing. Had fever from Tuesday till now. Haven't fully recovered. But no worries, she went to the doctor and it's not dengue. I hope she will recover soon. Take care, Nicole!

I ♥ Charmy Kitty

I went IMM for a numerous number of times but I didn't realise there's a Ajitei there. Haha! I believe it's becoz the little Ajisan Girl is too big and attractive. My attention has been place on her.

I had my meal with Darling at Ajisan IMM yesterday. Then I realise the Ajitei. It's abit like Sushi Tei.
The place is good where we can have Ajisan & Ajitei food items ordered at a go. The ramen is just as usual. I had Miso Cha Siew Ramen while Darling decided on Teriyaki Dry Ramen. Both upgraded to set.

Besides that, we ordered something gigantic. It's a Tonpeiyaki!!!

By looking at it, you will feel full. But once started, you will love it. I'm one who love it. Thanks for Darling making the choice.
It's an egg omelette with thinly shredded white cabbage and chicken slices topped with mayo & sweet sauce. Healthy and Tasty. If I get the chance to return again. I will order it again. But with more diners this round so I can try more items.

Note: I have just applied for Ajisan's membership. Hehe! I entitled for 10% for normal days and 15% on my birthday month. So friends, shall we go n eat one day???
