I ♥ Charmy Kitty

I'm totally tired today. It's just starting of the week and I'm in this state.

Well, all thanks to being vain. After doing my hair, I only get to reach home @ 1am in the morning. But luckily I got a ride from darling. If it was not him, I could have suffer even more.

He is definitely the nicest darling that I have ever met. Just because I'm vain, he has to go through the torture with me. Leaving his assignment undone and waited for 1.5hrs. And Fanny too, I made her waited for 2-3 hrs without complains. Well, she's a very nice buddy. Thanks to my Darling and Fanny. I really appreciate what has been done.

Not only because of my vain, that's why I'm tired but also due to that I was up slightly early yesterday morning coz I have to pick the trainees up at the hotel and back to office. Traveling is the killer for me. And also entertainment which I have to train myself for it in the near future.

Start of training equals to the start of my nightmare... Now I just hope that nothing goes wrong for the next 2 weeks so I would be safe. I'm hoping to hear some compliments from the trainees and boss. Those compliments will be a very good energy-keeper for the upcoming days...

Well, although I'm feeling lethargic now but this post does give me a dose of sudden awakeness. May this dosage bring me thru the rest of the day till off work.

Now I gotta find something to do n make myself stay awake.

I just got my new hairstyle an hour ago...

Just barely 4 months, I parted with my digital curls... But I love my new style. It's so neat and tidy now. Look much more younger. Hehe! I'm so happy.

Even the hairstylist also commented that. She even says that she can't believe that the curls was just done 4 months ago. Well, maybe they did not do a good job or my hair is not fated to be curled.

Haiz... All these comments , I will leave it to my readers. Just a note, Joyce perm hers twice as it was not very well done. And mine got almost straighten after 3 months. So I don't know what to say.

But there's one thing I will miss... I can't bun my hair anymore for the time being...

So I will definitely miss this look!

As for my new looks, please stay tune to keep a lookout as for the upcoming days, I might just post something nice??? ;-p

Yes!!! Yippe!!! My free ticket from I-weekly wasn't wasted.

It's 2 free tickets from a SMS draw from I-weekly. The tickets are for the movie - A Night in the Museum. But sadly to say, I can only use the free tickets from 4th Jan onwards.

This is why I have waited till now... So many Mon, Tue & Wed... It's either I have been busy or Darling... And we are quite a procrastinator. Haha!

Nevertheless, we have complete the movie. It's a nice movie. Emphasize much on loyalty n feelings and also friendship.

Good for me to do some soul searching after watching... Hehe!

My little cousin Zun Xian just had his 1st month party on Sunday (22nd Jan).

It was a nice one.

I haven't see my aunties and uncles so long... It's a good gathering too. The food at the party was not too bad. It's more to the Chinese style. Just that I don't get to taste the dessert as it's durian chendol which I don't fancy and not want to taste.

Well, everything is well and smooth. Personally I prefer this party then yesterday. I can really feel the sincerity of the host. I must learn more from my auntie so next time when I have party, I can take note of the important points to make the guests more comfortable.

Haiz it always the problem when you have given too much room to make decision in a group.

This round, it was the decision for dinner. Terence suggested something nice which is Swensens and here came Ping Han wanting to go Pasta Mania coz it's cheaper... n down to voting, where the main lead say anything. So it's a draw.

Frustrating is the word here. My name was placed to put some stress on Ping Han. I don't know why he is so scare of me or rather, respect me.

At first, I wanted to get out of this mess as I have already completed a task. And who knows, eventually, I can't wash my hands out of it. It's really a headache when I wanted to get prepare and go out then this group needs me to settle the mess.

Thus leaving with no choice and in order to save GZ, I gave them the suggestion of going to Pasta Mania @ Causeway Point so the Woodlands group can go back on themselves and the rest will be down for supper. (without informing the woodlands' group.)

And this plan works well after all. Just need to spend a little more petrol to send Lijun back and we head to supper after picking my bro up. Luckily for me as I escape a big decision-making this time. One stone kill two birds... But this can't b done every time.

Hopefully, there won't b another one soon... I'll get too exhausted.

P/S: GZ loves the present very much!!! I'm so happy!

It was my little nephew's 1st month party this afternoon.

I attended it. I was lucky that my dad drives. If not I will be drenched in the rain.

Cousin Alan's house is in Ang Mo Kio. It's quite a distance to travel from here to there. Long distance and bad weather make me so reluctant to attend.

Well, pple always say that when you organise a party or hold a wedding and the weather rains, it shows that you are stingy. And I always wonder it is true. It always have a contradiction lies in it.

But now I can say it's majority true. Cousin Alan wasn't a good planner. The food wasn't enough for all his guests. Especially the night session. The caterer was also late. Suppose to be at 6pm but it came after 6.15pm. Not only that, he did not prepare packeted drinks or other alternative in the case that the buffet's drink run out. Well, it has been a norm that the buffet drink will run out coz of the saltiness of the food and some guests might only take drinks and not food.

His caterer was Lavish Dining. And from CLEO's December or January issue, it seems that Lavish was quite posh in the decoration for buffet but when I saw it at my cousin's place, it was nothing special as compare to NeoGarden. The laksa gravy and fish nuggets were too salty.

Back to the main lead of the day - Jarius. He was sleeping the whole day. I never get the chance to play with him or carry him. So sad. But he seem cute. Hoping to see him more. Erm... I guess this will only happen in my dreams coz b4 my cousin got married, the chance of seeing them is very little not to mention now that we are all working. Well, the next chance will be this December when little Jarius turns 1 year old...

Looks forward to then and see how handsome he is.

Ever since after the celebration of Terence's birthday, I have already suggested into getting GZ's birthday present. As it is 3 weeks down the road so not much attention was paid to it.

Then it came to last weekend. I was out shopping with my darling @ Bugis. Wasn't out with the guys thus no one have intended to get the present. And now to this week... I have already make it a point to stay home on Wed & Thu to catch the Project Superstar 2. Thus left with Friday. And Terence who has to work till 7pm+ daily can't really meet me to buy the present. Thus leaving to be the one to get it. Haizzz can't push the task to anyone else.

It's always a headache to shop for a present for guys. Just for Terence's present, GZ & I had to crack our brain so hard and shop from IMM to Jurong Point. So this time round I have never expected less headache. But I'm so lucky to have a good Darling. I poured all the troubles to him and he help me to solve it. He gave me the suggestion of getting a electric shaver and also offer to accompany me to shop.

See how good my darling is to me. I'm really a pampered princess.

So he met me at Clementi and I suggest to go Best Denki @ IMM. There's a promotion for the electric shaver. Found one that fits into the budget nicely. It's $79. I grab it without another breathe coz there is no time for me to b fussy.

I find it worthwhile. The functions are fantastic too. Hope it's a good choice for GZ after all. Well, he's expression tonight will b a very important one! Hope I have not disappoint anyone in the role of the purchaser!

I have just completed assigned task for myself. Hehe! It's watching Project Superstar 2 Finals.

Well, I just feel that I didn't concentrate enough towards last part of the show for the girls & the guys. Especially for the guys. They didn't even start on the 3rd song, I already sitting in front of the TV playing with my mobile games.

Well, maybe the songs dun really suit my taste. Out of all the 12 songs, I only fancy the following songs. 'Xie Yi Shou Ge' & 'Can't take my eyes off you' sang by Carrie, 'This Love' by Daren and 'Jia Gei Wo' & 'Uptown Girl' by Nat.

Although Diya did not pick any songs that I fancy, but I still prefer her to appear as the girls' champion. As for the guys, no preference. Haha! But Nat is cute.

So as the results announcement time is getting closer, it's more n more excited. I will be waiting to see if Diya gets in!!!

I can't remember when I last gotten blisters on my feet. And I hated the feeling of blisters growing. It's real painful!!!

Haiz! I wonder whether am I not fated to wear those pretty 'office lady' high heels or it's the quality of the shoes.

I wore my Charles & Keith brown colour 3"inch heels yesterday. I walk with the heels from Market Street Multi-storey carpark to Lau Pa Sat then to Party World KTV @ Tanjong Pagar then to International Plaza and back to Market Street carpark. Halfway thru the journey, I almost give up due to the sore. But with Darling ard, I continue as I wanted to be his brave girl and not wanting to spoil the mood of others.

But luckily I got another pair of comfortable shoes that will not create friction with those hateful blisters. Thus I'm able to report work comfortably today.

Although my feet are sore and it's tiring to walk. But the walk with them round CBD area is fun too. And I got to know the shops in that area all closes ard 7pm. Leaving Lau Pa Sat the only place to get food for those doing OT in the office.

Well, I still enjoy the night with Darling's friends dispatch the sore & tiredness cos it's a happy occasion. We are celebrating Kenny & SK's birthday and we had a lot of fun sharing the 'zhi char' dishes with the comedian-Jiafu around.

It's a bad luck night for me... Luckily it's not Friday the 13th.

Just after dinner & shopping @ Junction 8, we went back to Bukit Batok and wait for Terence & gang for supper. As there is spare time, I decided to try getting the U magazine with Charmaine Sheh on the cover page as Grace Hew wanted. Actually Grace Ng promised to get one for her but it's sold out at her place.

Thus after getting the magazine, I decided to get to McDonalds for a drink. As it was still drizzling outside, I afraid the magazine get drenched, so I covered the magazine with my bag and hands. And who knows as I past by the MRT track, I got bird shit on my arm... I didn't realize till I got into McDonalds. It was dark on the street.

I was feeling so angry then I kept cursing & swearing... Guess Fanny had a fright. It's her first time seeing me like this. I totally lost my behaviour. My 1st time getting bird shitted on me. Really very heart-breaking. I did it out of goodwill and in return, I got bird shit. Haiz... Poor me... In the end, my mood was dampen by the bird...

Didn't even enjoy much for the supper.

It's been quite sometime back since I pop at Junction 8 for shopping there. The last time was in December just before the Crab feast but it was a short & quick one. Thus not counted.

This round, I managed to grab a free dinner from Fanny. Keke! I'm so greedy. So Crystal Jade was our destination. At first we thought the outlet at Junction 8 serves the Xiao Long Bao too. But to our dismay, it's only Crystal Jade Kitchen. Thus no Xiao Long Bao.

As we are already disappointed, the service staff still provoke us.

We managed catch hold of the lady in black to enquire on the menu but before speaking to her officially, she was requested to clear the table behind us. In my mind was thinking, clearing the table or serving us was more important??? In the end, we have to wait for another 5 mins before being served by the normal staff. I really can't believe what's going on.

Singapore service standard dropping??? Within 2 months, I have 2 times of bad service provided in the F & B. Haiz... I'm getting more n more disappointed. Better dun let me meet the 3rd one or else I will flare up on the spot.

Well, back to the shopping part, I started to find that Junction 8 does not have much attraction for me anymore. It's a simple neighborhood mall. So many repetitive shops around. Another thing is, the shops there does not have things that provides temptation for me to make purchase. So this contributes more to the boredom walking round without idea.

The whole journey ends in 3 hrs.

Sometimes I think that I'm dumb in a way. I seems to b so considerate and kind to pple. But does pple really appreciate what you have done?

To say, I really quite hurt by some actions of pple and things happening ard me. Well, I lend my help to pple say like getting a magazine, accompanying to shop and more but in return, I dun feel the appreciativeness in them.

I am not that calculative in these things but just that when I need help, they aren't there. In work or in personal.

Well, disappointment is what I feel now. I need more energy so I can divert my attention to other pple who needs me more...

It's my darling's birthday today.

Happy Birthday, Kenny!!!

May all his wishes come true. Everything well laid for him and pass through smoothly.

Guess some of you will ask me how I spend the day with him. Actually nothing special. I wanted to take leave and accompany him the whole day but he told me he got class on that day. And who knows, he actually make a mistake. So he had a free day which make me disappointed that I can't accompany him that morning and afternoon. But he went for Class A lesson thus makes both of us busy for the day.

Well, it's slightly complicating I know. Anyway it's not important.

We went down to Marina Square to have Billy Bombers. It's was one of his favourite. He had the Route 66 burger whereas I had a deep fried chicken (I can't remember what it is called) but I will not order it again coz the skin of the chicken is far too crispy and hard. Not very easy to cut as there are bones.

It's a very plain and relaxing celebration for Darling. Just the 2 of us to enjoy. It's so nice this way as I can pamper him the way he wants. Haha! Like a baby... That's the only time where he can take a day off from my princess temper.

Darling's poly classmates celebrated his birthday for him today.

Suppose to go for organic food but the restaurant was closed. Thus a change for my normal appetite, we went for Vegetarian western food.

It was nice and worth the price. Just for the both of us, we order 2 main courses (1 Lasagne & 1 Spaggetti), 1 soup bun and 1 classic caesar. It only cost us ard $20. As for the set meal which consists of soup, juice and main course, it's only $9.90.

The shop name is called Roma's Deli #01-23. Located near the foodcourt of Shaw Tower. Don't get confused!!! It's the Shaw @ Beach Road (near bugis).

Sometimes it always nice to have a change for your appetite.

Finally I manage to date my girl out today. It's our first meeting for Year 2007.

And I hereby wish that this year will be a very fantastic and fabulous new year for us.

We went to Orchard first then down to City Hall, Marina Square & Suntec City. On the way down to City Hall, I got to meet my Darling's bro on train. He's going to meet his girl. It's such a coincidence.

We had Sakae Sushi for dinner. It's such a long time since I last had it. Oishii!

I love the Christmas deco at Marina Square. It's so purplish, so romantic. Thus I forced my sweetie to take a photo with me even she say her hair is messy. But I think otherwise coz it matches her top so well.

But that day I was rather disappointed with M)phosis staff at Takashimaya. It's the first time I bought myself a pants from them. It's the last piece and after checking I feel alright so go ahead with the payment... Who knows the lady did not remove the sensor tag. Then I was happily shopping round till I reach Marina Square's Levis @ ard 7+ and that's where I feel so embarrass with the loud alarm sounding and all eyes on me. But lucky me that there's a M)phosis nearby. It not, when it comes to Chinese New Year and I wanted to wear it, I will be in deep shit to get that sensor tag out.

Well, it's a blessing in disguise. Anyway I had a good time with my sweetie and her mum. ;-)

A planned surprise for my baby darling...
It was suppose to be on Tuesday which is his birthday but then the plan can't b worked out coz he refused to let me be the decision-maker on Tuesday. Thus I suggested it to b changed to weekend where I manipulate the situation on the day.

Well, actually it's his brother who wanted to make it a special surprise. I'm only the coordinator. I suggested Fish & Co at Glass House where the ambience is much nicer and there's a live band playing from 7.30pm onwards.

The dinner was a splendid one! I also manage to meet his brother's gf. And we manage to achieve what we wanted - Surprise for my darling when he saw the both of them there.

Not only that, we also get to try the Jungle Freeze. A mixture of pineapple and mango. Nice combi. But there's one disappointment from Fish & Co. They still have their Kola Tonic & Passion Fruit out of stock since last December!!!

Note: Personally I love surprises and cheerful events. Like a big party with lots of friends around. I hope that my Darling has also enjoy himself at the dinner. Hehe!

Remember last month that I was quite smitten by this pair of G-shock & Baby-G while shopping for Terence's b'day present.

But the interest and love only last for a while. Now it's time for me to reminisce the beauty of it.

Well, it's not that I'm fickle minded. But frankly speaking, it not feasible for me and Darling coz the strap is white in color and it will get dirty easily. Next, it's more of a sporty, fashion watch. Not really suitable for me at the moment I feel.

Hehe! Just take more time for me and Darling to search for a suitable pair again.

I have not seen those 2 girls for long long time... I miss them lots. Still remember the last time was during Mary's b'day last yr. Time flies... Now it's 2007. Time for us to start meeting more.

We had our dinner @ Wisma Atria's Food Republic. Not too crowded during weekdays. So left us with a pleasant environment for chit-chatting.

The 'Thye Hong' fried kway teow is nice and big serving and looking at Mary's Prawn mee. It's seems so nice but I didn't get to taste it coz I can't even finish my own fried kway teow.

After dinner, we went walk walk. Zane bought a bag from M)phosis and I bought 2 dresses from Osmose. They are very sweet dress and I have not really set my eyes on any piece ever since my favourite Angela has left. Not only that, I also got myself a piece of 'diamond ring'. So I'm a happy girl that day.

Celebrated Yvonne's birthday at Aglio Olio. It is located opposite of Manhatten House.
It's a chill out cum dining area... Nice ambience & food.

They served spaghetti with 3 different types of base... Olio(Olive oil), Cream & Tomato. On top of that, you can have your spaghetti with chilli padi added in. It's tasty! There are 4 choices of spiciness. From Mild to Very Spicy.
And the ingredient in the spaghetti is also the customer's choice. Aglio(Garlic), Mushrooms, Seafood, Beef etc etc.

And if dining for 2, you can pick a set for 2 @ $29.90 with 2 soups, 2 lemonade, a basket of chicken wings and 2 main course. Reasonable pricing right? Very worth!!!

Not only their pastas are tasty, their pizzas also very nice. The Green curry pizza is tasty and spicy as we topped on chilli padi powder I think. They are also priced at $9.90 each.

There's a list of finger food also.

So next time when someone ask you out for dinner, this place is a very nice one! There's another located @ China Square Central.

I started to like Crabtree & Evelyn products more & more.
Especially after the recent hamper for my boss and the gift for my dearest Jacinta.

Their products are really nice and tasty!
I have just tried their Double Chocolate Chips Cookies and All Butter Orange Cookies. But they are not cheap! Thus I can only longed for it as a gift from Friends... :-P

Look at the below package. Isn't it nice? Although it's petite in size but I feel it's handy. Somemore with the little bag, you can contain all your toiletries when going overseas.

This set is called the Rosewater Weekender.

I love the Rosewater Bath Gel the most. It's really nice smelling. How I wish to have one of my own... 250ml for $28... *considering* hehe!

Was out for the fireworks @ Marina Square earlier! Back at 2am... Quite early right? Coz I'm a good girl. Hehe!

The fireworks lasted 8minutes in exact. I knew that coz I was taking video. But it wasn't a very good one as I'm not at my favourite place.

This year's was very special. One firing at Marina South and another at UOB Building's rooftop.
Very nice! Love it... Hope this year's firework festival will also be a better one.
