Joseph Ng has served MHE more then a decade...

His service to the company is recognised. Well, being so long here definately have lots of likes and dislikes in different aspects...

A small farewell party was organised for him. Not many pple came or stay for this party as compare to the 25th year celebrations for the other 2 colleagues. But Joseph still appreciate the things that has been done for him.

I don't know Joseph well till the trip to Meiji. I tag along coz only Grace and I was there before. After that trip, he was looking for me during every company event asking Grace why I did not attend. Although the friendship wasn't that long between us but I still grateful to know him as a friend. I hereby wish him all the best in his retired years and his trip round the world ;)

Haha! I have just forgotten I have popped in some monthly tonic pills this morning... Yet I drank a large cup of tea just now.

Just having the crave for Tea Lady's tea... So went ahead without any thoughts...

Now I m getting to regret.

But hopely nothing goes wrong... No lower abdominal pain/cramps pls... No feeling of uneasy pls...

If there's, I will be starting to experience some hell...

I went to stuff myself with Sakae's Dinner Buffet with Teppanyaki with Simon, Grace n Lena @ Funan Digitalife Mall

It was in celebration of Lena's birthday celebration which we have missed it. Thus post-celebration. A little treat frm us. Hope she has enjoyed herself and had lots of fun.

The buffet spread wasn't too bad. We have lots of stuffs. In total, we had ordered 50 plates.

The chawamushi was fresh and hot. Ebi fried handroll was fanstatic. Salmon sushi was fresh. Tempuras served hot. There were lots to be commented. Even the staffs there were much nicer then those @ Heeren. The manager of Heeren's outlet was definately a pig-head.

Out of the things we ordered, the teppanyaki salmon was the best. 1st bite will really let u crave for more. But it took the chef quite awhile to cook for us.

Well, it's recommendable. Damage is only $22.80++ for dinner and $20.80++ for lunch(i guess). For more info can tune in to www.sakaesushi.com.sg

I am so of a restless today. Half-day have gone and nothing much have been done. It's so cold in office too.

Not only that, I gotta the news that my boss's coffee mug is missing in action. How m I going to answer to him? What should I do? Hopefully he will not come in today and by 3pm, Auntie(tea-lady) is able to help me trace out.

I m just sitting here to wait till the lunch time is here. I m getting hungry...

It was quite a boring weekend for me. Meet Joyce @ Orchard. We try to do some window shopping but it was failure. Actually main purpose of going to Orchard was to get a haircut but then we still can't get the hairdresser/salon we desire thus left with the messy hair.

As it was in conjunction that Hao was off on that day. He suggested to meet us then proceed to kBox Buffet. Guess he was addicted to it after the trip there last month.

This time round, the food was fresher and more varieties. Coz, we are the first customers of the day for the buffet. Yummy food and singing session... This kills 4 hrs of our time.

Actually, this is the first weekend that I feel so boring. I don't experience that kind of boredom when I m at home. I just don't know why. Something seems to be missing that day...

Today I travelled alone to various places...

Firstly to UE Square and collect my accessories order from Joyce and had my late brunch there. Hao especially made the pasta for me and it was very nice.

Then down to Chinatown's Fook Hai Building to collect my package for Bangkok :-)
Follow-on was shopping for my beads stuffs. I spend almost an hour going through. It was so crowded in that shop. So cramped around.

By 5.15pm, I meet the army boys @ Jurong Entertainment for dinner then proceed to Chervons for KTV session.

During the session, it was then I found out that I have seem to lost the confidence that I suppose to have in driving. I was chatting with my bro n GZ, discussing abt cars. I told him I was in no position to own a car now. But mayb in 5 yrs down the road I might. Even the cheapest Picanto would easily cost me $800 per month for a 7 yrs loan with petrol, parking, road tax, insurance etc. How to survive with my less than 2k pay now?

Then we came to say abt car rental. Haha! This is the funniest topic that I told him that I have forgotten how to start the engine. He even laugh at me that I will forget abt the manual car's driving method. Seriously, I will. Even auto-car I might have problem in navigating. I still have some phobia on my turnings. It was the mistake I made in my 1st attempt.

I think I really need someone to coach me again. Or mayb just throw in a car for me to learn. I need some stress and force to pressurise me in driving. Otherwise, I might be just keeping the license for nothing. Thinking back now, maybe I have made the wrong choice to learn so early?

Just came back from NS HomeTeam chalet...
It was May's birthday. It was so fun. She invited so many guests.

It was 2nd time at the chalet. 1st was last June for Mary's 21st birthday and 2nd was today for May's 21st birthday. I wonder who is next to celebrate there.

From the photo you can see how May enjoy herself that night. All of us enjoyed too. It was fun. But it was abit shagged for me as I went after work...

(Updated on 8th Sep 06. Just got to know that my Secondary classmate just gave birth to a cute baby boy named Joshua Lee. Congratualtions, Peiyu!)

Finally, I got to attend a semi-formal company dinner.
It's only the 6 of us who attended. Lilian was not available and so was Mike & Kee's partner. Left with me, the only one who brought my darling along.

So now u know how small my company is... Only 2 bosses, 2 office admin n 1 engineer.

We went to the following places.
Harry's Bar @ Holland Village
Siem Reap @ Holland Village
Maple Pub @ Jalan Jurong Kechil

Harry's Bar was suppose to a meeting place but it turn out to b a driving ground. We spend an 1 hr there. I had a Harry's Favourite Margarita which is slightly sourish in taste. For Grace, I ordered Purple Haze. It tastes nice and she love it. She even mention next round when she goes back, she will order more of it. The rest was having beer.

At 8+, we proceed to Siem Reap which was oppose to Harry's. It was a restaurant operated by Indochine. They serve Cambodian, Vietnamese and Laotian specialities.

We ordered 3 bottles of Terrazza's 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, Black Pepper Beef with Butter Garlic Sauce, Chicken with Basil and Chilli, Roast Chicken Green Curry, Chicken with BBQ Sauce Salad, Deep Fried Vietnam Rice Paper Spring Roll, Prawn on Sugarcane, Deep Fried Chicken Wings.

The food was very tasty. Green curry was very spicy but I still love it. Beef n the sauce goes very well. Recommend place to pamper yourself for a drink n food. Prices are rather reasonable. All the above mentioned food are below $20. A bottle of wine is $60.

But the washroom there was rather scary. It is because you got to go round the steep old-chinese style spiral stairway. A moment of misjudged will send you all the way down.

By 11pm, we shifted ourselves to Maple Pub coz Mike had a meeting with one of business associates. They offer us drink. First time I went entertaining. It was an experience to note. But I guess my darling was worried and jealous. Looking at how close the Eurasian were to me. But no worries my darling, I will be fine. I will not allow them to go overboard.

Grace & I went back @ 12mn. Today turn up @ work @ 11am. Haha! Even her boss and my engineer was earlier then us. Not to say, my boss should have got drunk @ the pub...

We just happen to spot this restaurant @ CineLeisure on Wednesday.

It's just an coincidence...

Well, this coincidence really prove that the Earth is round. If prove the theory that Grace has taught me... "You will reap what you have sow..."

Hehe! I know this has been a very popular saying for long. But I have slipped it to the back of my mind already. So now, when Grace join me in the company, she once highlight to me again. Now I remembered very clearly n have it in mind... So very now and then, as and when Darling and I was provoked, I will have this saying goes...

Back to the topic...
Actually we have arranged to go to Sakae Sushi @ The Heeren as we got the 1 for 1 Red Plate coupon. Each coupon can order up to 8 plates. I have got 2 coupons. So Grace, Simon and I make the way down.

Haiz, I must comment that I wasn't making things difficult for Sakae sushi... Their business is so bad due to the renovation in the building and can't they make things more flexible abit? I understand the Terms & conditions stated. "No splitting of bills, Not valid with other promotions .... etc."
Well, as I enquired whether I can use 2 coupons for 1 table, the staff shld replied in the most polite way instead of getting so pissed off. I was actually thinking in my heart that "Mind u... We will be paying for 4 red plate per coupon. Which is amount to SGD$26++" But they don't seem to want the business. Including the manager, he give us the worst attitude of all.

They have provoked the sickly lady (Me) as I m feeling unwell with my gastric. While I was making payment, I was quite nasty to the cashier I think. (Sorry to the lady on duty that day...) I questioned her that what if the group of customer have one of them to the counter and make the payment then restart to order again? And what if the customer step into the restaurant with the coupon again after 10mins?

She gave me a rather rude reply... "Provided the customer willing to come back!" I was like dumb-founded for a second. I was about to reply her that if your service is good, customer will come back! But I jolly-well know that if I were to explain or elaborate more customer satisfaction n things, I will be the one to faint on spot. Thus I stopped and we went over to CineLeisure to look for 'my promise to Sharon...'

Upon reaching at Level 2 of CineLeisure, while I was looking for the 'Promise', Simon and Grace spotted this Hong Kong Cafe with tasty Crab Bee Hoon. Remembering Simon was still hungry after the little Sakae meal, we decided to popped in.

The atmosphere there was fabulous. Very Hong Kong-like. Love the style. I even see the lady who took part in the Huan Le Dien Feng as being the cutest n sweetest there

The staffs there were friendly too. Very good customer service and satisfaction. They took the wrong order for us. And the lady manager gave us their famous French Toast in compensation. She was very friendly and joke round with us. She even ask whether the food was nice and keep apologise to us. Really top service provided. Well, in conclusion, I will frequent back once I get the chance to. So any takers to join me???

We ordered Fresh Hot Soya Milk for Grace and me, HongKong's Hot YuanYang for Simon and the Crab Bee Hoon. Their HK YuanYang very nice. Grace and I steal a spoonful from Simon ;p

As earlier, I say that I m not feeling well so I skipped the Bee Hoon. But the 2 testers that I bought along gave very good comments for it. Maybe it's because we were also pampered like King and Queen. So feeling good = eating good!

By the way, just in case anyone was thinking about the French Toast... you can see it from the picture above. The big cube that I m posing with. It's the French Toast. Hehe! It's big like a piece of Tofu which my darling had mistaken it for. It's very spongy and soft. Tastes very well with honey on it.

Oh remember! It's Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe.

For a month, I have not been to Meiji... and this round I spend over $100 bucks... Haha! I m a chocolate queen...

Well, this round I bought some new yummy items... which means more chocolates again... But I still can't find my Meiji Birthday Bear... how much I wish to get it... Can someone help me on it?

This Fine Bitter Chocolate is tasty... Chocolate inside thin wafer biscuit. Yummy yummy! Really great choco taste when the little bitterness streams out. 1 or 2 pcs is enough... More of it, I will get sick... It's individual packing inside. So it will last u one week :-p

It seems like this white peach gummy contains collegen which is good for complexion... I can't understand the japanese on it but I do read the word collegen which the grape flavour does not state. The sweetness taste is not as strong as the grape and it has a very nice peachy scent. I bought a box of this gummy. By the way, the packaging is resealable so it's convenient!

Woohoo!!! Almond Chocolate Pillow. Biscuit coated with chocolate acts as a pillow to the almond inside. The box is like a treasure chest. Individual packing inside also. Good to have 1 of this sweet treat everyday. Haha! I bought a row of this...

Cute gummy moulds. Just like those jelly moulds. One mould in a packet. Just pick the amount of gummy you wish to have. Purple is normal grape flavour with grapes mould. Blue is lemon, soda and yogurt flavour in space mould.

Lastly is the kids' favourite. Yan Yan! Only now I realise Yan Yan comes with the cheese cream dip. Fabulous combination. First try I was in love! Haha! includes my bro too. The biscuit and cream cheese... Haha! I shall stop... saying more makes me drool more... So my action has proven!!! ... ... ... ... I have got 20 cans of it. Hehe!

Other then those above, I have also repeated some other stuffs... Like Macadamia Nuts, Almond Nuts, Lucky Mini Stick, Chocolate Gummy Tubes and Tact Chocolate and Mango... Any readers who wish to get it cheap, can msg me as I have little stock with me... Willing to share with all.

I gotten my darling this packet of Hershey's Kissable last Sat b4 we went for the fireworks. Well, it's just a coincidence that I will be this. I was actually looking for my Meiji B'day bear and happen to c this Kissable on offer @ 2 pkts - $2.20. Rather worth it and so I decided to take it off the shelves.

And who knows after the fireworks...

My precious darling decided to pop into Candy Empire when we pass by on the way back to Suntec City...
:p he ask me what is the sweet that Joyce bought the other time... I was dumb-founded for a second and answered him Starburst!!! I even brought him to the rack asking him who is he buying the sweets for... Haha! In my mind was thinking mayb buying for his freshies as he will b meeting them the nxt day. But who knows... he actually bought 2 pkts. 1 for me n 1 for himself. So sweet of him... My night was totally sweeten by him and the fireworks.

By the way, for information purposes... he specially look for those with liquid centre... I believe he must be very in love with it... (Maybe when my darling read this, can he tell me why he pick those with liquid centres???)
Anyway, it was quite rare to find them in large packets... We only manage to c them in small and medium packs. Does anyone knows whether they come in bigger packs???

FinaLe is always the best. See the colors that were presented in this round. It's more. And the fireworks in this round are shotting all round the area. There are some on the waters which were extended right out into the middle of the Singapore River. So close to the audience @ Fullerton. Well that's where the VIP will be.

It's totally different from the day I saw @ Marina Square. It only Red and Gold coz I only manage to catch those high firing ones. Haiz... Can't even see much designs. But then, the trip down on Friday and Saturday really worth it coz I manage to catch the best of the whole festive.

It was the last show for this year's fireworks festival... Finale night always seems the best. Although there is not much of a variety of fireworks to be display. But the design and coordination were great. It's all based on creativity on how you want to display the fireworks.

The way France team has shown it was very fantastic. Ok, I must say a fair word for this, it is always determine by the location you are in, whether you have gotten the full view of the fireworks. These points are always the most important. And I have made my word for the above points by waiting for 2 hrs in advance to make sure I m able to catch a good view of it.

Well, Finale night has to be the best of all and I have also make it the best of my 2006 fireworks watching night. I have gotten the full accompany of my Darling.

Out of the 3 nights where I went, 1st night he was late as he has to drive back for his dad and also have dinner @ home before meeting me @ Marina Square and watch the fireworks. 2nd night, he did the same this round but I was naughty... I went to Sheares bridge. It was so crowded that he couldn't get in. So we were separated. Watching the fireworks without him makes me think harder. I have wondering about him throughout the session till he gave me a surprise by popping behind me.

But 3rd night was the best... He had accompany me in waiting. While waiting, I was frighten by the sound of a motorcyclist. It was so loud. And we also joke around about the Traffic jam.

I have caught this show with my darling on Wednesday. Hehe! We forgo the fireworks @ the stadium even though it was said to be the most beautiful this year. But to me, nothing was more beautiful then being able to spend the time meaningfully with my darling. Some more actually he had suggest to watch the movie last Sunday. But too bad, I was caught up with some shopping stuff with my family.

We catch the show @ my current hot favourite cinema - The Cathay. I simply love the grand, spacious and clean look. The couples' seats are comfortable and spacious enough for me to slide down and lean against my dar's chest.

Ok back to the movie. It's a very romantic love story. But I do find some part of it doesn't really fit in. It's also a bit slow so dun catch it when u r very tired and feel like sleeping as u might just waste ur $9.50 inside :-P

Ermz, actually I also dun have much comments abt the movie. I dun wish to elaborate much and spoil the mood of pple who wishes to watch. But if you want more info of the movie visit the official web or pop me email...

The best thing that I love most is the Glass house... BeautifuL... But too bad, there isn't one in Singapore.

Just celebrated Samantha's birthday @ Fish & Co - Wheelock's Place... It was an exciting and fun 21st birthday celebration...

Samantha was made to stand on the chair with the Fish & Co's crew to shout out the birthday cheer. We were the restaurant's focus of the night. Haha!

We were the first few to be in and the last to be out. Haha! We really can spend our time there chatting and playing. Especially when Eric came with his newly bought N73. Really hot from the stove. He just bought it that afternoon and all of us are so excited :-)

C the balloon in our hands? I especially request the balloon sculpturer for the bears. At first I m looking @ pink and blue combi but too bad, only pink, purple, green, yellow... etc colors available. Finally settle for purple as it was my darling's favourite...

I missed the Italy team's fireworks last night... It's a pity but it doesn't matter much... The thing that really matter is who you are with...

Well, Darling was sick. Down with pimple in his left eye. Thus we didn't went and catch the fireworks.

As his darling, I should b accompanying him to visit the doctor but too bad by the time I reach his place was already 7.45pm and his family doctor has already closed. He has to make a trip down tmr himself. But he got a consolation prize which is the cooling tea that Mum boiled this afternoon. Haha! imagine in a one night I make him finished the 1litre bottle.

After 8.30pm when he finished with his errands and things, we went to J8 to have dinner. It's a superb late dinner... ... although it will be fattening and filling as it was Japanese Bento set but then, with his accompany, I still manage to stuff myself with the food.

On the way back, I requested him to accompany me to meet Fang and the rest to pass her the present. Well, despite his eye, he still make it a point to send the 4 of us back... I must say, My Darling is the best!!! I have started bullying him again...

I want to see the fireworks this year... No matter wat happens...

"Still remember the promise that was made last December's countdown? U promise me that u will bring me to watch..."

I am now wondering the promise will come true...

It will be a total of 4 sessions excluding NDP's celebrations. I would not want to miss anyone of those. no matter wat, whether you will be bringing there to watch, I will still be there.

*wIthout u watching with me, I will be tearing with memories I guess... wIth you watching with me, I will be tearing with happiness I guess...*

P/S: I know it's not the time for me to throw my princess temper now but this is exactly what I feel now... So don't take it to heart... I will be alright soon...

I tried the Cheesy Feast in office today. Coz Lena was asking me yesterday whether there will be any order of fast food and things.
I let go of my restriction on my diet. I care less about what will happen next. I didn't want to think so much about my wisdom tooth extraction and things. I just want to enjoy even if I might suffer during the course or after.
Maybe I m just plan tired of thinking of what to eat. Let me wonder... if I can go without lunch, it will be great.

Well, comments on the pizza. It's nice when it's hot. And it's damn filling with the cheesy crust.
We ordered the Cheesy Feast Set @ $35.90 and took Black Pepper Chicken for the cheesy bites and Aloha Lovers for the normal. There is the wings and drumlets included also.

I have personally tried the cold and the hot version of the pizza today. It's was an compliment of Pizza Hut that allow us to try it. Actually it's their mistake. Lena ordered the pizza @ slightly b4 11am and they delivered it by 11.25am. She called back and complained that she had requested to have it delivered @ 12.15pm but they mixed up the timing. Thus she ask Pizza Hut what to do with the pizza as our lunch time was suppose to be @ 12.30pm. Hehe! Then Pizza Hut requested to replace us with fresh orders. That's how came the hot and cold version.

Overall I must say that it's fun trying the pizza but then I m having a difficult time biting it. Thus I got to be very careful with my wound. Not only that, I was actually down with a sore throat. Well, just let me 'yi du gong du'.
