It was meant to be a boring Saturday for me.
Fanny did not ask me out for Sentosa trip. I wonder why...
Darling was given off days by me to be busy with his exam revision. I expect him to score As throughout. So it's gonna be tough. Hehe! With As then he can get me to treat him.

Slacking at home on Saturday wasn't a great idea. Coz from morning till 3.30pm, there won't be any shows that I fancy at this moment. Only Sunday which I can catch some kid's variety and repeated shows.

But who knows... I received a call from Hongye & Guozhong to join them for dinner and game of pool. Since nothing much for me to do so I agreed and make my dear Guozhong to drive me and my bro. Woohoo! That's so nice of him isn't it?

Upon reaching Jurong Entertainment Centre, we met up with the rest of the guys and head to ZingDo n try. It's operated by Breeks. The food was very Korean and the concept was like Pepper Lunch. But sad to say, their exclusive menu of the month wasn't very up-to-date. I had to re-decide so many times and GZ has to walk to n fro so many rounds. The cashier on duty even ask him to give me a call instead of walking. This make me so pissed off... Don't she think that phone call costs money too? But y in the first place she doesn't make known to us which are the items that had been sold out?

After so much hassle, I manage to order this not so tempting Vegtarian Stone Pot rice.

As suggested by Simon, we made a last minute decision on going to Marina South for BBQ Steamboat buffet on Friday night.

Although it's a Friday night, but the crowd was lesser. It seems like this business will die down very soon or it will be monopolised...
As we step out of the MRT station, there's a few pple giving out phamplets which state their business has shifted out to Boon Keng and transportation was offered. That did not tempt us as the well-known stall for Grace & rest is Chin Huat but for me is Chong Pang.
As majority wins, we headed for Chin Huat. I dun mind trying as it is off the usual. Good try, nice try.

Chin Huat offers live prawns & crabs but no crayfish. And before eating the crab, u got to know how to kill it. If not, that's the end. Haha! Got free and can't taste.
We almost can't taste the crab... if we had went without Simon n his girl-Lixin. She is good in killing the crab and prepare food for us.

It was our first time seeing her too. She's those typical housewife who will take care of the house perfectly and making lots of home-cooked food. Haiz unlike me... only know how to be tai tai and a tai tai who has no luxury... Keke! Just get contented with sleep and slack...(P/S: Darling, take note of that hor... nxt time gotta get a maid for me arh!)

Lixin was quiet thru'out the dinner. Guess she is shy or maybe she got frightened by us. Will get this out from Simon on Monday. Hopefully she loves our group and can join us more often then never.
We had lots of fun teasing each other thru'out. Especially Susan who got attacked by Grace's brothers.

Finally I gotten the chance to pop over at Meiji last Friday.

The visit wasn't an advisable one for me. It was bad for me. I start to crave for chocolates again = Fat fat cInDy

But although it will be an unhealthy one, I still do not want to miss it. And base on this instinct, I spotted 2 new items.

Extra Strawberry Fran & White chocolate w Pistachio nut

I tasted them over the weekend and found that they are nice. The strawberry fran was around about the same as the blueberry fran. But the white chocolate might be everyone's favourite as it was rather milky.

Chocolate lovers can try if they happens to be in your way. ;-)

Friends reading the previous posts must be thinking how come my precious darling wasn't featured in any of my birthday post.

Hehe! It's just because I wanna keep it secretive... ...

Actually no la, I just wan to keep the last for the best. My darling did celebrate my birthday for me. It was a nice one with the my 3 beauties.

He was a very fantastic boyfriend. He came to pick me up after work and we went down to Suntec City together. And the presents from him was better then anything. He drew me a sketch book full of Pigs... It's nice. It's the only one in the world. It was meant as a surprise for me. He went to hid it under my bed... with the help of my bro. Haizzz... so in the end I got trick on my birthday by the 2 guys... Other then the sketch book, I have also received a musical photo frame with a photo that we took on my birthday last year. It was sweet... All the things he did for me make me teared that night... making me turning up at office with swollen eyes. So ugly. Keke!

Well, I only post up the photo of both of us together as the presents will remains as a mystery to the rest. It's my precious treasure!!!

My mum & I splurge on this little darling last Sunday. This will make sure that I will be home when there's nothing much for me to be out.

I simply love the clarity and colors. Maybe I was too exposed to my more then 10 year old TV. The colors and image of my old one was blurred at times. The size was smaller too. Only 21". Now we have upgrade to 32".

In view of the new Tv, we got a new TV bench to match it. I had always want a simpler-looking home. Without mess and things around.
My old console has been with us for more then 10 years. There are so many stickers on it. The color has faded too. Shine has left it also.

But the total damage wasn't small for such a change. It's more then my one month's pay... I'm so broke now. No more shopping already... Luckily Mum pay 2/3 of the total. Thus my burden was slightly lighter.
Although it's abit pain to fork out such a big sum for it, but the attractiveness of it has compensate a large portion. Now I am aiming for a mini home theatre to make it a set.

Hehe! I got another cake today. Nice one isn't it?
It's from Polar also. I love the cookie monster. It's from my dear ex-colleague, Siew Hong. Although we seldom go out together but she still remembers my birthday...

I met her at AMK Hub for dinner just now. But the F & B are all very full. Long queues everywhere. Really 'pple mountain pple sea'. Becoz of all this, we had a change of dining venue and went to the Ramen Ten @ AMK cinema.

Although, it has been sometimes that I last visited Ramen Ten, their menu is still the same. hehe! And I like their dry ramen. Tasty & chewy but too saucey when they place my teriyaki chicken on it.

But I guess this is my last chance to taste that as I was told that next month (May), they will be changing their menu. Now I look forward to their new flavours... ;-p i'm a greedy little piglet.

Had a nice celebration with my beauties. Although it's a simple and short one but it's still fun.
Look forward to see them soon. Next month, it's Jiali's birthday... So down for another celebration.

The girls are so sweet... They bought me a Swatch watch with diamond on the bracelet. I love it very much. And being girls, they are very thoughtful. As it's my birthday and there should be cake around but after dinner we definitely have problem finishing it so they got me a small cake from Polar with My Melody print on top. It's so girly which I love it... :-D

The dinner place that I have chosen was at Suntec's basement. It's a Japanese restaurant. They are well-known for their 8 chilli ramen which was superb duper spicy. It will be a good one for chilli lovers... Shall introduce my chilli-lover friend there.

This year, I had a very 'cakeful' year... From last Friday till this post, I already had 4 types of cakes... I believe there are more to come which I will not mind. Hehe!

I was definitely the Princess of the day... Firstly, I got 2 slices of cake from the office tea lady - Mdm Sim. It was very nice of her. No one had this special treatment I believe.

This 2 slices of cake had became the breakfast of Grace & I.

See how beautiful the slices of cake are??? Chocolate flavoured somemore... Hehe! My favourite.
The 2nd picture is me with the cake that my colleagues bought for me.

Photos with those who pamper me... Especially Grace Ng & Simon. They just gave me a treat the day before and this cake was ordered in advance by Grace to get the wording written on. Too bad that I forget to take a picture of the word...

And this cake has become the 2 Grace's & my lunch, Simon & Bee Leng's dessert. Hehe! We did not waste a single piece of it. I'm so happy!!! Furthermore, we also got a bottle of Yakult each with compliments from Simon.

So the morale is, when it's your birthday, it is not necessary to take leave to enjoy the day... Keke!

This year, the gathering was held at Paradiz Centre's Tao's Restaurant.
I had caught the advertisement on TV so many times that I can almost recite their lines... "Zhe mo duo xuan zhe... ... ... qu na li zhao"

As it was quite out of the way for me previously, I never had the thought of going there until last Saturday.

They really had a wide variety of food. For lunch, there are 6 courses and dinner - 7 courses.
The appetizer (opening dish) was a standard for all. As for the rest, there are 4 choices in each categories. And becoz we are pampered with the many choices, Darling & I pick different ones for the taste. Well, the taste of the food wasn't too bad for us except one or two of it was too salty. And not to worry too much, when you feedback to the staff, they are quite willing to do a change for you without charge in order to get you to taste the rest of the choices. The staffs are very friendly and understanding. So nice and sweet. It totally gave us a very cozy feeling. Somemore, we are placed in the VIP room due to the group size of 12 pax.

We had lots of fun while enjoying the food. Service was excellent too.
This year was a very successful one. The organizers deserve the credit. I got to meet friends that I seldom meet... like Shuping & her bf (1st time I saw him) and Yiwei...

Now, it makes me look forward to next year's gathering...

I'm getting older in an hour's time... But I still trying to deny the fact that I'm no longer 21.

Time flies which make me feel that I have not got anything done yet.

My dearest colleagues, Grace Ng & Simon gave me a treat just now... Yummy!
It's was at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao. At first I was thinking of The Soup Restaurant but was thinking that it might be too crowded and I have the sudden craving of Xiao Long Bao. Keke!

I like their 'udon-like' fried noodles. It's was very strong in the taste. We also ordered one Zhu Jin Rou(Pig's neck) which was cooked like that Szechuan style. Spicy n shiok! Go with plain rice will be the best!
Other then that, we got some pan fried xiao long bao, Beijing shui jiao & also one onion pancake free coz Grace was a Citibank card member :-) Additional benefits...

After dinner, we went down to Charles & Keith to see if there's any shoes that we can get with my birthday discount. But the recent design dun seem to be appealing to me. So sad... Just spotted one pair for each of us...

It's a rare opportunity for me to be able to date our Ms Nicole out for dinner.
Well this is because she is a ballet teacher now and her students are mainly having their class in the evening or on weekends. Then me being a very good worker, I seldom take leave thus this left left us with no choice but to wait for opportunities to come.

We met at City Hall MRT and start to source for food. I suggested New York New York as I have been wanting to try it for a long long time.

The serving of the food there was rather huge. And they are yummy too. The service is fast and nice. Unlike those I read in forum that complains abt them missing out their orders. For me, it's thumbs up!

I also love their cubicle like seat. To be seated in there during the peak hours, you have to try to be in groups of 6 pax. Otherwise, I think you will not get to enjoy it. Just like us, we had a change of 3 times before we are peacefully seated. The 1st round, the table was too small. 2nd round, the staff made a mistake and didn't know the table was reserved. Well, this are just minor things. The atmosphere that we created ourselves has totally canceled the negative. Hehe!

See how hard I'm trying to look like the angel on the right... Does Nicole look like the devil?

Definately not!!! She's too much of an angel.

Look at the food... It's for 5 persons. We had so much that my stomach totally bloated.

Start from top left corner: Caesar Salad, Mushroom Cappucino, Fiery Chicken Wings, Vanilla Root Beer Float, Lasagne Appretiser, Chicken Burger, Spring Chicken, Seafood Platter for 2.

The cost is rather reasonable too. Seafood Platter for 2 with a crab in the centre, 3 pcs of fillet, calamari, shrimps & smoked salmon salad cost $33.90.

And overall, for the above and a NY Tropicana, we spend ard SGD$115.00. Average to be SGD$23.00 with GST & service charges.

Hehe! New York New York is a recommended place for gathering! :-D

I gotten a new chair!!! Hehe! My previous white seat has crack all over. So I got the new seat from IKEA and made the replacement. Nice isn't it??? Sweety pink. It's my first time celebrating my birthday with the supper gang. It's always me celebrating other with them... but this year round, it's finally different.

They had forgotten me last year which I believe. Just a received a few greeting from them. And some are belated.

But this yr I had a very enjoyable time with them. It's real fun man. Hehe! It's my first time going Sakae Sushi for dinner with them. And the ordering was exciting. Wei An is so blur. Everything I say, he agreed. Haha!

But whereas for me, it's kinda of off the norm. I ate quite little. Maybe I was still full from the lunch.

They also got me a chocolate birthday cake. Hehe! I love chocolates. Yummy yummy! Their birthday song also make me so shy. I'm the only girl in the group and everyone turned and looked at me... OMG... The rose among the thorns??? Haha!

I'm the PRINCESS!!!

Baobei is having her exams soon and her assignments have actually stress her alot. But she still takes time and celebrate my birthday in advance.

We met up at Orchard and had Bakerzin. She my companion for that. Hehe! Both of us love their food especially desserts. It's really very tasty and pretty. The pricing is rather reasonable.

The cakes are yummy and creative. I can't find them outside... Now the next thing on my mind is their souffles. Still remember that there's a program showing some artiste cooking it. It's not easy at all.

By the way, Baobei also gave me a present. It's a pair of white wedges and a purple top. They are nice for me to wear to office. Hehe! Now my wardrobe has more variety. Hehe! and it's time to throw old ones away too.

My brother went to his sch's Sec 3 camp... and being so lonely without him at home, I started to dig out my longtime no touch-Neopets a/c and play the game inside.
This round, for once I defeated him in this game. But sad to say, half way thru the game, there is came popping up one error msg and the whole game was stalled. It was either I close the whole window now or leave it. There's no way I can resume the game anymore.

Thus a photo was taken to show that I have defeated him.
But success is lonely... Haiz... Another 2 days to go before he is back on Friday...

Met PeiLi & Jacinta today... Took half-day leave to relax myself.

As PeiLi n my birthday is just a day apart, Jacinta gave us a treat for the celebration. And my dear sister, PeiLi, she got me a Perlini's Silver necklace.

Pretty pretty necklace... A butterfly with 3 dangling flowers. I love it!

We had a nice time hanging round Orchard. Haha! Visited almost all the branded boutiques. Hehe! Love Gucci the most. I don't know why. Maybe the rest of the design for this season wasn't attractive for me. LV got the Seleya which seems like we can play checkers on the bag. Haha! PeiLi was rather keen in getting it. So we told her that next time when we travel and get bored, just bring out the chess as we got a checker board. ;-p But frankly speaking, the bag is nice as it's beige cream color.

And we went to Zara too. All our eyes set on a pair of 4-quarter pants. Jac got light brown, PeiLi & me got dark brown. It's so fitting and comfortable but it costs me $49.90. Heart aching slightly... But quite worth it I think. Hope it does... Keke!

A woman's biggest and most beautiful day is when she is getting married.

Just attended Bi Ling's wedding and it was so romantic. Love is in the air and the small video was done by husband personally with special dedication to her. Well, well, actually nothing to rave about it as her husband is doing IT. But it's the effort. :-)

Not only that. The next time that has touches me is that my darling still manage to have a class photo with his poly mates. It was more then 5 years back but then they still manage to get together for this wedding dinner. N looking back at me, I started to feel so sad. Being more of introvert side, I have lesser friends in poly. N some has already lost touch with. Haiz... really feel sad abt it.

Just for this dinner, I specially went to color my nails as I wanted to look pretty. Haha! As for the dress, I had ask Darling to make his choice a week before. I don't know why he love me in the blue chiffon dress. Sweet??? I don't think so as I'm not. Haha!

Beautifully painted nails by Gladys... It suits my dress very much... She is really very pro in nail art painting.

Thinking that my neck area will be rather plain, I started sourcing for design on necklace so I can make myself one to go along with the dress. Thus see the below... my masterpiece. It make me quite grand that day...

See my hand-made crystal necklace??? I know the picture is very small so I have gotten a bigger view of it below...

And from the sourcing of designs, I manage to get a few design. Now thinking when I should do then and the colors for it. Anyone interested can always get me to help in doing. I can also teach. Keke!

I have been catching The Dance Floor on Channel 5 every Wednesday without fail.

I just love dancing... But this week's theme doesn't really seem to catch my attention much. Guess I am not very keen in Modern Contemporary. But I like Platinum's pajamas look.

So hopefully the rest of viewers also like this so they won't be in the bottom 3 next week.

And 3 cheers!!! Next week's theme is Ballroom which is one of my favorite. Look forward to it. Time flies please. I'm waiting and waiting... Wonder how the all boys/girls groups will perform.

It's a tough workout day for me yesterday.

Boxercise is back in action again. I had push myself very hard yesterday. But due to the 3 mths break, my fats has re-accumulated and some have also found new homes... This situation is very bad...

So I got to try harder to keep myself fit! I must be healthy. But sad to say, my back aches again. I wonder did I strain it yesterday or was it because of the stretching.

I will just monitor it for a few days first. Hopefully it's gone for good by tomorrow's morning.

I'm so sorry that I withdraw from the army boys and join my Darling n his friend to catch this movie.

It's definitely not an April's Fool Joke. I stood them up as it has been a long time since I met the 'comic boys'... Haha! They always exchanges their comics to widen their 'collection'. So they will met up once every few months... *ard 3 mths interval in between???

So it's nice for me to join them for awhile n listen to their updates and widen my social circle abit.
I really have a very small social circle as I'm those who needs to be 'push n pull' extroverts... Love to mix around but will not take the initiative.

Back to the movie that I have watch... It's nice. Especially for those like me who didn't expect it to link from our childhood comic. The usual 'bad' guy did not appear at all. It's just a movie that is solo by itself. Thus no worries of unable to click into it.

It's a good movie for kids too. It provides very good teaching. But too bad, my bro told me it's not his era and he dun like turtles. Or else, I might just sponsor him a ticket so he can go with his friends.

Hehe! There's one thing that I miss the turtles doing... skates in the water pipes. The scene is too little. Can't let me reminisce long enough.

Overall, I had a very wonderful April's Fool Day... I wonder what about the rest of you. Hope it's a nice one too... ;-)
