For once, I finally enjoy a pampering session with my sweetie.
I love the way we enjoy ourselves @ Modern Beauty Takashimaya branch.
We did a series of treatment there for the price of $51.40.
Facial, Lymphatic Detoxifying Massage, Spa, Hand Wax & Eye Treatment.
Well, it's cheap isn't it? Actually we only pay for the facial & massage and it's a trial session.
But in the midst of providing the service to us, I was pissed off by some of the staff. Our appointment was fixed at 10.30am. We arrived 15min early and they are not able to identify our appointment. The lady took our I/C and put us in the consultation room. Then came back 5min later to ask which are our appointment with grumbles. In the 1st place, she didn't even ask the appointment was book under whose name and another thing, when I book the appointments, I already told her our I/C no. as requested.
Next, we are asked to take a shower b4 going into the jacuzzi in view of hygiene. Then it's the 2nd time I got fedup. I was lock in the shower area. The lock is spoilt and they did not replace the full lock instead, they did a minor repair and allow customer to use again thinking it's alright. So I'm the victim that save the rest. Coz I question them why did they not change the lock after the 1st customer got caught inside? So they put a sign to inform others that the lock is spoilt. Not only that, in the midst of trying to open myself, the staff was more 'excited' by telling me not to do turn too fast and be calm etc etc. But I was totally calm down and turning slowly. They are just making me agitated. Thirdly, they didn't inform that we are allow to wear our swimming costumes as towels are not allowed inside the jacuzzi.
After all these 'wooha', I was finally put into total calmness during the facial. I enjoy the facial. They use a machine to clear my dead skin cells which Citispa didn't do it. Their extraction was alright for me. It doesn't make me look bad like Citispa's. Everytime after Citispa's facial, I came out with lots of bumps on my face. And I feel it was hygiene at all. Coz after 1-2 days, usually I will have underlying big pimples trying to pop out. Then remembering the last visit, their steamer/cooler machine was down. I dun understand how they can operate this way.
If I wasn't leave with 8-10 times of facial with Citispa and financially not so tight, I believe will sign a package with them. In terms of location and flexibility, they win Citispa so far. (in my personal opinion)
Next was the massage. It wasn't like any other body massage. This massage targets on the lymph knots in our body. Trying to make it better and prevent any clogs. Lymph knots are like filters which clear off the dirt from our blood. If they are not working or malfunctioning, it's threatening to our health.
The eye masks are very comfortable too. My eyes were massaged with cream and warm eye pads are placed on it.
Hand wax was like normal one that we did at the manicure/pedicure shops.
Lastly, I believe friends will be thinking that they will hard-sell the products. But to me, it's still quite alright. They didn't criticise you and accept the fact that it's customer preference whether they will sign or not. I believe the beauty salons nowadays should be educated with the mindset that customer will return even if they don't sign package on the spot after the trial.

This is the ice fruit platter. Nice nice isn't it? Special! Never get to c this at wedding dinner. There are quite a number of fruits. Watermelon, honeydew, dragonfruit, grapes, peach etc. Everyone just eat to their hearts contented.
There should be more photos but all taken with my auntie's & uncle's camera. So I got to wait patiently for the photos to come in. Mayb mths ltr then I will get to post. ;-p
Still remember that few days ago, I just negotiate with Darling that I won't watch the movie with him as I heard Simon say that it's scary. He got frightened himself and Lixin was peeping throughout the movie. But after watching it myself, I was not really frightened by the movie but feeling abit gross. The dogs and human was just like what we saw in the arcade games. I think he was frightened by the sound effect coz it's booming loudly. But the sound do give some hints when it's coming to some 'surprises'.
Taste not bad. I like the bacon with asparagus. But the green pepper was charred. Needs improvement. Price wise, I think it's so-so. $5.30 for 4 sticks of meat. What do u think???
